Kodachadri is also called the Cheerapunji of the South, as it receives the most rainfall in the district. It's a green, green trek that takes you up through a rain-drenched tropical forest, with the Hidlumane waterfall and gushing streams to stop at. The trek takes about 3 hours one way, so you'll have plenty of time to enjoy this experience. But the adventure carries on into the next day when you head out for a fun session of kayaking in a river, and a visit to the historical Nagara fort on your way back. It's the perfect weekend getaway for a gang of adventurous friends!
NOTE: The kayaking session depends on the water level on the day of the trek. No refunds will be given if kayaking is not possible.
Kodachadri mountain is located 422km from Bangalore and stands at 4406 feet. It is a hot spot for thrilling adventure activities like trekking, forest exploration and rappelling. The kayaking spot is a natural river nestled between dwarf ranges, and you'll be surrounded by forests throughout this trip.

You will be picked up from the specified pick-up points in Bangalore by 21:30 and then driven to Kodachadri base. It is an overnight drive and you will reach your homestay at 06:30 hours.
You will be driven from Bangalore to Kodachadri base. Do carry a light shawl or jacket to stay warm, and some light snacks and a small bottle of water for a comfortable journey.
No meals will be provided today.
For cancellations made 0-24 hours before the departure date of the Kodachadri trek: No refund.
For cancellations made 24 hrs or more before the departure date of the Kodachadri trek: 90% of trip cost will be refunded.
For no show, due to any reasons, including personal reasons, miscommunication with booking website/operator: No refund.
For changes in itinerary during the Kodachadri trek due to unforeseen conditions: Alternate feasible activity will be provided, but no refund will be given.
If the Kodachadri trek is cancelled by the operator due to weather changes, wildlife movements or permission issues before the departure: 100% refund will be given.
Smoking or consumption of alcohol or any drugs is strictly prohibited on the Kodachadri trek.
A strict no littering policy must be followed by all participants.
Participants consuming alcohol, misbehaving or causing delays will be immediately banned from the rest of the Kodachadri trek. Their return costs will be at their own expense and no refunds will be given in such a case.
