    The Kolad river rafting trip is a refreshing adventure that takes you to the lush green regions of Maharashtra where you’ll get to embark on a thrilling 14-km rafting session on the raging Kundalika River! Conducted over 3 hrs, you’ll get to battle at least 10 rapids of grades II and III, and catch scenic views of the breathtaking natural beauty that is lined on either side of the river.

    Short but exhilarating, this adventure gives you the perfect opportunity to connect with nature like never before. Besides enjoying the thrill of rafting you’ll also be exposed to rustic villages and rich jungles as you retreat into the wilderness of the mountains.     Situated in the mountains of Maharashtra, Kolad is a small village that lies on the banks of the gorgeous Kundalike River in the Kokan region. As it houses the Bhira Dam, everyone morning large volumes of water are released which give the Kunalika River its flow and force. It’s due to this reason, combined with it close proximity and easy accessibility from the city that has made Kolad a popular destination for adventure seekers and nature lovers.

    Rules on the trip

    Participants must adhere to the instructions of the trip leader/guide at all times during the Kolad River rafting trip.

    Consumption of alcoholic beverages/drugs/smoking is not permitted during the Kolad River rafting trip.

    Littering or any damage to natural habitats is strictly forbidden during the Kolad River rafting trip.

    Participants must be on their best behavior during the Kolad River rafting trip.

    Cancellation policy

    For cancellations made immediately after booking the Kolad River rafting trip: 70% refund.

    For cancellations made 30 to 15 days before the departure of the Kolad River rafting trip: 40% refund.

    For cancellations made 15 to 7 days before the departure of the Kolad River rafting trip: 20% refund.

    For cancellations made 7 days or less before the departure of the Kolad River rafting trip: No refund.

    No show: No refund.

    All cancellations/refunds on this trip will be processed after a deduction of INR 200 per person. This fee is charged by The Great Next and is applicable for all cancellations.

    For the Kolad River rafting trip there are a number of pick up points available: the Pritam Hotel in Dadar East at 05:00 hrs; Yogi Hotel in Chembur at 05:30 hrs; Vashi Plaza in Vashi at 05:50 hrs; near Mc Donalds in Kalamboli at 06:10 hrs.

    Any additional expenses that occur due to unforseen circumstances during the Kolad River rafting trip have to be borne by the participant.

    In case of any loss, damage, accident or death that occurs during the Kolad River rafting trip, the operator cannot be held responsible.

    The operator reserves the right to change/deviate/cancel the itinerary of the Kolad River rafting trip without any prior notice incase of accidents or natural calamities.

    During the Kolad River rafting trip all members are responsible for their own belongings.

  • Go River Rafting on the Kundalika River

    Report at the Pritam Hotel in Dadar today by 05:00 hrs from where you'll be transported to Kolad via private bus. After a thorough briefing at Kolad, you'll begin your exhilirating rafting sesssion on the Kundalika River. Spanning over 14 kms, you'll battle at least 10 rapids of grades II and III. Your session will last for 2 to 3 hours. At the end of your rafting session you'll head to a nearby restaurant to feast on a hot lunch. Post lunch, you'll get some time to rest and then you'll board the bus and make your way back to Mumbai. You'll reach Dadar by roughly 19:00 hrs. Your trip ends here.

    Report at Pritam Hotel in Dadar today by 05:00 hrs from where you'll be transported to Kolad via private bus. En route the journey there will be pick-up points in Chembur, Vashi and Kalamboli. Today's package includes a packed breakfast followed by a hot veg and non veg lunch at the local restaurant at the end of you rappelling session. After resting you'll board the bus and make your way back to Dadar. You'll reach back by 19:00 hrs marking the end of your trip.
