    The trek to Korigad Fort is an easy 6 kms trek suitable for absolute beginners with around 500 stone cut stairs leading up for the most part. Once on top, you'll get to explore the ancient ruins of the historic fort including six cannons and water tanks; you'll also be treated to the gorgeous views of the rolling landscape of Sahyadris, two lakes of the Aamby Valley, and the Mumbai-Pune expressway cutting through the lush landscape.


    Korigad is a hill fort located 20 kms from Lonvala, within the Aamby Valley. It is a popular easy trek due to its close proximity to Mumbai and Pune. The trek begins in Peth Shahpur village, located at its base. The best time to visit the fort is during the monsoon season when the trail is flanked by lush greenery.

  • Trek to Korigad Fort!

    Today, you'll report at Sanjay Gandhi National Park by 06:00 hrs, from where you'll be driven to the base village. After having breakfast there, you'll begin your trek to the fort. By noon, you'll descend back to the base village and enjoy a post-trek lunch. After that, you'll begin your return journey to Mumbai. You'll reach Mumbai by 20:00 hrs. Your trip ends here.

    Today, you'll be picked up from Sanjay Gandhi National Park by 06:00 hrs. Today's meal package includes breakfast and lunch which will be served at the base village before and after your trek, respectively. You'll be dropped back in Mumbai by 20:00 hrs.

    For cancellations made 6-9 days prior to the Korigad Trek: 60% refund.

    For cancellations made 3-5 days prior to the Korigad Trek: 30% refund.

    For cancellations made less than 3 days prior to the Korigad Trek: No refund.

    In case of no show: No refund.

    All refunds will be processed after deducting a transaction fee of INR 200 per person. This fee is charged by The Great Next.
