First discovered in 1905 by Lord Curzon, Kuari Pass is one of the oldest treks in Uttarakhand's Garhwal region. This trek also holds historic significance, as it follows the path first taken by Lord Curzon, the then Viceroy of India.
Nanda Devi and Mount Kamet, the 2nd and 3rd highest peaks in India respectively are visible through the trek. In addition to that trekkers will be able to view other famous peaks such as Hathi-Ghoda, Dronagiri and Neelkanth.
A picturesque trek that is accessible year round, it is especially magnificent during the winter season when the trail is covered under layers of powder-soft snow. This easy to moderate trek can easily be attmepted by beginner trekkers as well as the pros.
Please note that the operator can arrange for transportation to and from Rishikesh at an additional cost of INR 2000 per person.
Kuari Pass trek is popular among enthusiasts not only for the stunning views it provides of the majestic mountains of Nanda Devi and Kamet but also for the ever-changing sights over the duration of the trek.
The trek begins from the base village of Dhak and traverses through picturesque cliff-side villages, dense forests and sweeping meadows with the snow covered Himalayas serving as the backdrop.
After a day of trekking, you will return to rest at the scenic Guling and Khulara campsites, both of which are world apart from each other. While Guling is set in the wide open meadows, Khulara is surrounded by dense forests filled with aged oak and rhododendron trees.

Today you will travel to Joshimath and check-in to a pre-booked hotel/guesthouse. You will meet up with the trek leader and your fellow trekkers over dinner followed by a quick briefing session.
Overnight in guesthouse/hotel in Joshimath.
For cancellations made prior to 60 days of departure date – 100% of the total trek fee will be refunded i.e. no cancellation Fees.
For cancellations made 30-60 days from the departure date – 70% of the total trek fee will be refunded.
For cancellations made 15-30 days from departure date – 50% of the total trek fee will be refunded.
For cancellations made 1-15 days from departure date – No Amount will be refunded.
You can choose to transfer your seat to your friend but he/she has to fulfill all the formalities before the day of the Event.
Replacement would not be applicable on any public transport booked for original participant, in that case booking for the new member has to be done again.
Participants must adhere to the instructions of the trip leader/guide at all times during the Kuari Pass trek.
Consumption of alcoholic beverages/drugs during the Kuari Pass trek is not permitted.
