The best way to get to Haridwar is by train, as this is one of the busiest railway hubs in the country, and is connected to Delhi, Mussorie, Mumbai, Varanasi, Lucknow, and Kolkata. You can also travel by car or bus from Delhi.
The Kuari Pass trek is one of the most gorgeous treks in the Himalayas, and is suitable for fit beginners looking for a bit of a challenge. However, with Pangarchulla Peak added on to the itinerary, you'll find an element of thrill too. Getting to the peak involves waking up early, in the dark hours of the morning. You'll trek through the dark forests as the sun rises slowly from behind the peaks. As the sky grows brighter, you'll see Pangarchulla Peak ahead of you. You'll never forget seeing the morning sun turning the Himalayas gold. nding elements.
This 6-day trek through Kuari Pass and Pangarchulla Peak gets progressively challenging, as you go along, and you'll end with a couple of days of steep climbing. The third day of the trek is one of the toughest, when you'll climb a steep slope through oak and rhododendron forests to get to Khulara camp. This is at an elevation of 11,122 feet. On the fourth day, you'll get to the highest point of your trek, at a height of 14,700 feet. You'll need all your stamina for this part of the trek.
Thanks to the height gain, you can expect to see views that few other treks can offer: rose-gold dawn skies in the mountains, rivers cascading down from the distant heights, and iconic peaks like Nanda Devi, Dronagiri, Neelkanth, Chaukhambha and more.
