Rafting
This is a paragraph with little content.

This is another small paragraph.

  • Trip introduction

Take off for a fun day of rafting in Kolad! You'll spend a thrilling two hours battling the Grade III-IV rapids of the Kundalika, but that's not all. Your instructors are from Rishikesh, so you can expect to learn a few slick techniques from them. Dive into the river for a dip and get a chance to try out other activities like Tarzan swing, Commando Net, and Burma Bridge. All this, plus a delicious lunch served in the lush green environs of Kolad!

    Destination

Every morning of the year, the gates of the massive Bhira dam are opened, turning the relatively serene Kundalika river into a body of churning water. This means that the rafting here is not weather-dependent, so adventurers from everywhere flock to Kolad year-round, to enjoy the tropical forest atmosphere and the pleasant water.

In the summer, the region around is dry and brown, but around the river, it is always lush and cool. During the monsoon, the entire region turns into a lush green paradise, with grey stormy skies and a host of wildlife and birds. Winter has its own charm, with morning mists, chilly evenings around bonfires, and the fun of being dunked in the cold water on a sunny morning.
