    Embark on one of the most photogenic treks in Nepal and spend a week exploring the Langtang National Park. On this trek to Langtang Valley, you'll visit one of Nepal's oldest yak cheese factories, trek to the sprawling vast glacier of Tserko Ri, and visit the ancient monastery at Kynajing. All throughout the trek, you'll have gorgeous views of snow-capped Himalayan mountains like Mt. Langtang Lirung, Mt. Yala Peak, Mt. Kinshung and many more. At night, you'll sleep in quaint tea-houses, run by the ethnic Sherpa and Tamang natives, packed with Buddhist art and culture.

    The Langtang Valley is a hotspot for diverse alpine wildlife and greenery, with over 150 species of birds chirping across the valley. The valley is located inside the Langtang National Park, home to animals like the Himalayan thar, the Himalayan black bear, the red panda and many more. Since the valley is situated so close to Tibet, influence of the Buddhist culture can be clearly seen across the villages, monasteries and tea-houses of Langtang. The valley is also home to the namesake Langtang Khola river, Langtang village and Mt. Langtang Lirung.

  • Day 1 of the Langtang trek: Arrive in Kathmandu

    Arrive in Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport. A representative of the tour operator will meet you at the airport and escort you to a pre-booked hotel in the city. Here, you'll meet the trek leader to chat about the trek itinerary and the weather conditions. Overnight in a hotel at Kathmandu.

    Fly into Kathmandu. You'll be escorted from the airport to the hotel in a private vehicle. If you land in the morning, you can visit the local marketplace in the evening to shop for any last minute essentials. You'll be accommodated in deluxe hotel in Kathmandu on twin-sharing basis. Since today's meal package does not include any meals, you can visit any of the restaurants in Kathmandu to have meals at your own expense.

    For cancellations made more than 60 days before departure of the Langtang Valley trek: 100% refund.

    For cancellations made 60-30 days before departure of the Langtang Valley trek: 70% refund.

    For cancellations made 29-14 days before departure of the Langtang Valley trek: 40% refund.

    For cancellations made less than 14 days before departure of the Langtang Valley trek: no refund.

    In case of no show: no refund.

    Rules on trip

    Travellers are required to carry a copy of their travel insurance (if obtained), a scanned copy of their passport and 3 passport-sized photos. These documents are required to obtain the necessary permits.

    Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

    Travellers are required to adhere to instructions of the trek leader during the trek to Langtang Valley.

    Consumption of alcohol and drugs is prohibited during the trek. Consumption of tobacco products and cigarettes is not recommended.

    Travellers from outside Nepal are requested to carry enough cash in the local currency to cover tips to staff and other incidental expenses.

    All prices displayed are subject to fluctuations based on international currency exchange rates at the time of booking. Accordingly, prices may be subject to a foreign currency premium/discount at the time of booking.

    The tour operator takes utmost care to ensure safety of the travellers and shall not be held responsible for any mishap, accident or loss of life during the trek to Langtang Valley.

    The tour operator reserves the right to cancel or alter the itinerary of this scuba diving trip depending upon the weather conditions and other factors. If extra costs are incurred due to changes in the itinerary, they will be borne by the traveller.
