This custom Leh motorbike ride lets you travel in a small group of your close friends, so that you can experience one of the most spectacular regions in India. IMPORTANT: This Leh motorbiking trip package requires a minimum of 4 pax to make a booking. This package is for ONE rider PLUS ONE pillion rider on a single motorbike. If you want to ride alone on a single bike, the cost per person will be INR 25,725.

NOTE: There is an additional refundable deposit of INR 10,000 per bike to be paid before the start of the Leh motorbiking trip. This will be paid directly to the operator.

Destination

Your Leh motorbiking adventure starts in the small centre of Leh, where you'll have a day to get used to the altitude. After that, you'll set off towards Sham Valley, a green paradise of apricot orchards set in the midst of the craggy landscape. En route, you'll stop at famous landmarks in Leh: the dramatic two-toned confluence of the Zanskar and the Indus river, the mysterious Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, the ancient monastery of Likir with the towering 75 foot statue of a golden Buddha, and the peaceful, white-walled Alchi Monastery. You'll ride through the high altitude pass of Khardung La, and visit the cold desert of Nubra Valley. After that, you'll head to the blue-green Pangong Lake, and spend a night there, before returning to Leh. At the end of these 7 days, Leh will be a part of you forever.

Take the national highway heading north from Leh and ride your motorbikes towards the Nubra valley. You'll ride through Khardung-La, the highest motorable road in the world, and into the cold deserts of the Nubra valley. Today you’ll ride from Nubra Valley to Turtuk Village on the banks of the Shyok River, and the last village before the LOC. After exploring the village, you will ride back to Nubra Valley for the night.

Today you'll set off on an adventurous ride to Pangong Lake, navigating your bike over the rocky route parallel to the winding Shyok river. The sight that awaits you will be one that you will never forget. Your campsite is beside the gorgeous Pangong Lake, in Swiss tents with attached washrooms.

Nubra Valley

Today, you'll ride from Pangong to Leh, through Kela Pass and Chang La Pass stopping en route to see Druk White Lotus School, Choglamsar and Shanti Stupa. Back at Leh, you'll check into your hotel for the night. Overnight in a hotel on triple sharing basis.

After breakfast you head for local sightseeing with the group and visit the famous Pathar Sahib Gurudwara to seek blessings. You will later ride to magnetic Hill where you will see the confluence of the might Indus and Zanskar Rivers.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation made within 30 to 15 Days from the Date of Travel – Credit Voucher worth 100% of Received Amount.

Cancellation made within 15 Days from the Date of Travel – Credit Voucher worth 50% of Received Amount.

The Credit Voucher shall be valid for one year from the Date of Cancellation.

The Credit Voucher can be redeemed against the equivalent or higher amount of the booked package amount.

In case of Lockdown or Covid Positive Report, Credit Voucher worth 100% of Received Amount with a validity of 1 year from the date of travel will be credited.

 

 

Rules on trip

During the Leh motorbiking trip, you must wear a helmet at all times. You will also be required to carry your ID at all times.

Any damage of the bike/helmet during the tour will have to be paid for by the guest. Before starting the Leh motorbiking trip, all riders and pillion riders have to sign an Indemnity form.

Participants who leave the group mid-way will have to pay for transporting the bike back to Leh.

All guests will be responsible for safety and security of their own luggage.

Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

The operator reserves the right to change the dates of departure within 30 days prior to departure date of the Leh motorbiking trip.

The operator will not be held responsible for any change in itinerary due to reasons beyond control like change in flight and train schedule, cancellation of flights/trains, political disturbances, natural phenomenon, etc.

International Youth Club or any of its service providers does not cover for any kind of insurance and will not be liable in any case for any mishap/ loss etc.

The operator reserves the right to change the itinerary during the Leh motorbiking trip if it is deemed unsafe.

Compensation for any damage/accident done by you during the Leh motorbiking trip to others property/person would be directly payable by you.

The operator has the right to cancel the group if a minimum of 4 bookings is not confirmed.

Any meals/services not availed of by the traveller are not refundable.

This package is for 2 riders on 1 bike. For 1 rider on a bike, the cost will be INR 44,500 per person.
