    Pack your gear and head out to the mighty Himalayas! The Manali-Leh route is a pilgrimage for bikers, and you'll know why once you experience it. You'll be roaring through Leh, navigating high altitude passes, passing snow-capped mountains, and exploring cold deserts and gorgeous blue water lakes.

    Your journey begins in Chandigarh, but the names of places on your route after that will beckon to you with their mysterious charm: Chandigarh - Manali - Jispa - Sarchu - Leh - Pangong - Hunder - Nubra Valley - Kargil - Drass - Srinagar.

    Please note that you are required to bring your own motorcycles on this trip. The trip cost does not include any costs relating to the transport of motorcycles.

    This Ladakh motorcycling trip starts in the green valleys of Manali, with blooming flowers and apple orchards. You'll ride onwards to Leh, and the lush greenery gives way to the weather-bleached landscape of Ladakh. You'll be crossing rivulets created by melting glaciers, navigating rocky patches, visiting silent monasteries, and exploring some of the most spectacular parts of India. From the Rohtang Pass to the Khardung La, from Gata Loops to Tanglang La, ,and from the picturesque Pangong lake to the scenic Nubra Valley, this Ladakh motorcycling trip takes you through the most iconic landmarks of the Trans-Himalayan route.

  • Day 1 of Ladakh motorcycling trip: Arrive at Chandigarh

    You can check in to your hotel in Chandigarh any time after noon. If you're travelling from Mumbai via the Paschim Express, you'll get to Chandigarh by 17:00 hrs. Pick up your bikes from the cargo office, and spend the evening picking up last minute essentials and meeting your team. There's a briefing session just before dinner, and then you can head to bed. Overnight at Chandigarh in hotel.

    For cancellations made 46 days or more before departure of the Ladakh motorcycling trip: 100% refund.

    For cancellations made 31-45 days before departure of the Ladakh motorcycling trip: 75% refund.

    For cancellations made 22-30 days before departure of the Ladakh motorcycling trip: 50% refund.

    For cancellations made 16-21 days before departure of the Ladakh motorcycling trip: 25% refund.

    For cancellations made 0-15 days before departure of the Ladakh motorcycling trip: No refund.

    All refunds will be processed after deducting any transaction costs.

    Rules on trip

    Consumption of liquor, drugs, tobacco products and cigarettes is strictly prohibited while motorcycling in Ladakh.

    Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

    The road captain maintains a two-by-two motorcycle formation while riding with 4-5 riders per road captain. Please strive to maintain formation and stick to the correct side of the road.

    It is imperative to stay focused on the road and not engage in any competition or race while riding.

    Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

    Travellers are required to adhere to instructions of the road captain while motorcycling in Ladakh.

    All riders must have a valid driving license, motor vehicle insurance, PUC certificate, bike registration papers/smart card, and ID-proof for primary rider and pillion rider.

    The cost of motorcycles and travel between base city and Chandigarh is not included in the trip cost.

    The itinerary of this motorcycling trip in Ladakh includes high-altitude destinations with no internet connectivity and limited road access and availability of services. Riders are requested to take such circumstances into consideration before booking.
