    This iconic trek takes you through the best of Himachal Pradesh in 5 days as you traverse through the Parvati valley, visiting Barshaini, Kheerganga, Tosh and Kasol en route. You'll pass through lush green forests, cross sparkling streams, bathe in natural hot springs, and camp under the stars. This Manali-Kheerganga trek starts with a night of camping close to Manali, in an idyllic campsite. This trek is easy, and can be done by beginners looking for a fun outdoor experience.

    Destination

    This is one of the more picturesque regions in Himachal and is suitable for an easy trek. Families and groups of friends will enjoy the many different sights and experiences that the Manali-Kheerganga itinerary provides. You'll be camping in comfortable tents, listening to the wind in the trees outside. During the day, you'll trek through pine-scented trails, crossing rickety wooden bridges over cold streams, eating lunch in the open, and discovering the many beautiful villages and views of Himachal Pradesh. In the evenings, you'll gather around a bonfire, enjoy the cold night air, and eat a hot dinner before retiring to bed.

    Rules on the trip

    Please ensure you do not litter. You will be expected to carry back any plastic bags you use.

    Participants must adhere to the instructions of the trip leader/guide at all times during the Manali-Kheerganga trek.

    Consumption of alcoholic beverages/drugs is not permitted while on the Beaskund trek.

    Cancellation policy

    For cancellations made 0-15 days before departure of the Manali-Kheerganga trek: No refund.

    For cancellations made 15-30 days before departure of the Manali-Kheerganga trek: 50% of the amount will be refunded.

    For cancellations made 30 days or more before departure of the Manali-Kheerganga trek: 90% of the amount will be refunded.

    You can also opt to shift your date to a different departure, subject to availability.

    Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

    The supplier reserves the right to change/cancel the itinerary for the Manali-Kheerganga trek without prior notice, if deemed necessary. No arguments or refunds will be entertained.

    Any event cost is exclusive of any kind of insurances or medical coverage/benefits.

    Any additional expenses which might occur due to delays, weather disruptions, medical evacuation etc. would need to be borne by the participants as per actual. All overstay due to delay beyond our control would be charged on pro-rata based as per tour cost for planned days.

  • Day 1 of the Manali-Kheerganga trek: Arrive in Manali

    Today you'll arrive at Patlikuhl bus stop early in the morning. This bus stop is about 14 kms short of Manali, so you'll have to inform the driver where you want to disembark. You'll be met by the operator and transferred to the campsite. You can choose to go sightseeing to Naggar and Manali if you like, or you can spend the day enjoying the pretty apple orchard and the river nearby. In the evening there's a briefing session, as well as a bonfire and dinner. Overnight in heritage home at campsite.

    Day 2 of the Manali-Kheerganga trek: Barshaini and Tosh

    After an early breakfast, you will take a 3 hour drive through Parvati Valley via Kasol, to Barshaini. From Barshaini, you'll trek to Tosh. It's an easy trek along tarred roads and will take only 45 minutes. At Tosh, you'll have some time to explore the village. After that, you'll head to a campsite beyond the village and relax there for the evening. Enjoy a bonfire and hot dinner. Overnight in tents.

    Day 3 of the Manali-Kheerganga trek: Trek to Kheerganga

    Today you'll walk through the Tosh village and up along the Tosh nala. You'll walk through forests scented with pine, over streams, and to Kheerganga. The last stretch involves a bit of climbing, and then the landscape opens out in front of you. You'll get beautiful views and will be camping here tonight. Enjoy a bonfire and hot dinner. Overnight in tents.

    Day 4 of the Manali-Kheerganga trek: Trek to Kasol

    Today you'll go up to Kheerganga where you'll spend some time exploring the area. You'll trek down again after this, heading to Kasol via Manikaran. You'll have some time to explore Kasol, and maybe do some shopping if you like. After that, you'll head to your campsite in Chalal. The Parvati river flows by right next to the campsite. Unwind around a bonfire and eat a hearty dinner. Overnight in tents.

    Day 5 of the Manali-Kheerganga trek: End of trip

    The trip ends after breakfast today. You can stay back in Kasol if you choose, or board buses heading to Kullu. If you wish, you can also head back to the base camp near Manali (taxi fare from Kasol to Manali not included) (cost for campsite stay INR 650 per person, per night)

  • Day 1 of the Manali-Kheerganga trek: Arrive in Manali

    Overnight at base camp

    You'll spend the night at the beautiful heritage village home in Soil village, near Manali. The home is in the middle of an apple orchard with a river nearby, and is a peaceful setting for your first night. If you need any last minute essentials, do head out to Manali to pick them up today.

    Day 2 of the Manali-Kheerganga trek: Barshaini and Tosh

    Overnight in tents

    For your first night of camping, you'll be set up close to Tosh village. You'll be staying in triple or quadruple sharing tents, with facilities like toilet tents and a kitchen/dining tent for your comfort.

    Day 3 of the Manali-Kheerganga trek: Trek to Kheerganga

    Overnight in tents

    Tonight you'll be camping at Kheerganga, from where you'll get gorgeous views. The package for today includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overnight in tents.

    Day 4 of the Manali-Kheerganga trek: Trek to Kasol

    Overnight in tents

    Today you'll spend the night at Kasol. This campsite is not far from the main street, and you can go there to do some shopping or just to explore it. Retire to your tents for the night.

    Day 5 of the Manali-Kheerganga trek: End of trip

    Trip ends in Kasol

    Today after breakfast, your trip ends. You can go on to Kullu by your own arrangements. If you wish, you can stay at the Manali base camp for another night (but you'll have to pay INR 650 per person for 3 meals) (cost of transport to Manali not included). Trip ends today for those who choose to proceed homewards.
