Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
After meeting at the pickup point in Delhi, participants are driven to their hotel to freshen up and grab something to eat. In the evening, the group goes sightseeing and visits heritage sites like India Gate, the Red Fort, and Connaught Place.
Day 2: Sightseeing in Delhi and overnight journey to Manali.
After breakfast, participants can relax or explore the city. In the evening, they catch the overnight bus to Manali, which offers beautiful views of Himalayan villages.
Day 3: Sightseeing in Manali.
Participants are picked up from the Manali bus stop early in the morning and are driven to their hotel. The plan for the day is to visit the famous Hadimba temple and also to take a dip at the hot water springs in Vashisht.
Day 4: Sightseeing and acclimatization in Manali
Participants spend the day leisurely exploring the beautiful town of Manali, so that everyone is fully acclimatized for high altitude before starting the trip. On today's itinerary: a visit to the famous Mall Road and also the Club-house.
Day 5: Cycle from Manali to Khoksar
Today the cycling begins! After the morning breakfast session, participants start cycling towards Khoksar via Rohtang pass. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.
Morning after breakfast start cycling to reach Tandi (49kms) along Chandra river. Arrive Tandi and overnight stay in Tents.
Day 6: Cycle from Khoksar to Tandi
Participants head towards Tandi after enjoying a hearty morning breakfast. They cycle parallel to the long Chandra river. Overnight stay in tents.
Day 7: Cycle from Tandi to Darcha
Participants head out to Darcha after enjoying their breakfast. They visit the old Gondhala Fort, cycle through a series of green fields in Keylong and Jispa, and visit a newly-built monastery which was specially built for H.H. the Dalai Lama. By evening, the group arrives at Darcha which is located in a beautiful, wide and open landscape. Overnight stay in tents.
Day 8: Cycle from Darcha to Intermediary camp
Today participants head to Sarchu, the border of Himachal and Jammu and Kashmir states. They arrive at Sarchu for dinner and stay overnight at an intermediary camp. Participants pass through a vast and beautiful green pasture land. Overnight stay in tents.
Day 9: Cycle from Intermediary camp to Sarchu
After the morning breakfast, participants start cycling towards Sarchu. Sarchu is located near the border of Jammu and Kashmir with Himachal Pradesh. It is densely populated with military personnel and offers good camping options.
Day 10: Cycle from Sarchu to Lachung La
Participants start cycling towards Intermediary Camp II, located near Lachung La. Overnight stay in tents.
Day 11: Cycle from Lachung La to Pang
After the morning breakfast session, participants head out towards Pang. They stop en route for a while at Lachulung La top to admire the magnificent views from here. The third pass is reached after crossing the Tsarap Chu river. Participants enjoy their lunch at Pang. Overnight stay in tents.
Day 12: Cycle from Pang to Taglang La
Participants begin their day with a breakfast and then start cycling towards Taglang La. Participants will pass through one of the longest plain belt at More plains and then with a gradual climb that leads up to the Taglang Pass,one of the highest highest motorable road. They then cross over the pass and spen the night in tents by a samll stream at the base.
Day 13: Cycle from Taglang La to Upshi
We cross the Tanglang la pass and proceed towards Upshi. This particular section of the cycling stretch offers spectacular views of the mighty Himalayan peaks.
Day 14: Cycle from Upshi to Leh
Participants start cycling towards the final destination, Leh, the capital of Ladakh. They visit Hemis Gompa, Thiksay Gompa and the old and historic palace of Shey en route. Participants arrive Leh by evening and check into a hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 15: Leh to Delhi
Participants transfer to airport to catch a flight to Delhi in the morning. They drive straight to the hotel upon arrival. Later in the evening, they are transferred to the airport to catch their flight back home. The trip ends here.
