    Destination

Sikkim is located in the northeast region of India and is predominantly bordered by Bhutan, Nepal, and Tibet. The state is saturated with natural beauty since it is mostly perched at a higher altitude with a varying topography that ranges from arid mountains, rugged valleys, thick Himalayan forests, and sprawling tea plantations. The landscape is also dotted here and there with waterfalls, vast lakes, and glaciers. In the past, there ran the historic Silk Route which connected India and China for the silk trade.
