The Bhutan motorbiking trip is an enriching 10-day motorcycling journey that takes you across the rugged hilly terrains of Bhutan as you travel though riveting landscapes, and explore the Buddhist culture and catch stunning mountain views.
The perfect adventure for adrenaline junkies, this trip is full of spectacular delights. From riding along the Teesta River to meandering through tea gardens, you’ll get to stop by many tiny villages, pay a visit to numerous Dzongs, drive over Bhutan’s highest motorable road: Chele La and trek up to the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery! And on your rest day you’ll get to explore around the cultural city of Thimphu whilst interacting with the locals. Moreover, as your journey progresses, you'll even witness the scenic beauty of the gorgeous Paro Valley.
Not for the faint-hearted, this adventure requires stamina and determination – but for those who love adventure, it is also highly rewarding.

Known as a ‘Buddhist Kingdom’ within the Himalayas, Bhutan lies on the eastern edge and comprises of a rich Buddhist culture. It is also popular for its dramatic landscapes. From high mountain valleys, to stark vegetation, this region is known for its varying topography.
For this adventure, you’ll begin your journey from Bagdogra from where you’ll ride across many destinations over 10 days. These destinations consist of Darjeeling, Gangtok, Phentsholing, Thimphu, Punakha, the Paro Valley and Siliguri where you’ll conclude your trip. Along the way, you’ll even drive along iconic sites such as the Teesta River, the villages of Gedu and Chukka, the Dochu La, the Chele La and the Tiger’s nest Monastery.

Please ensure that vehicle is registered to the rider's name and all documents (pollution check, insurance, driver's licence etc) are in order.
Arrive in Bagdogra today by 10:00 hrs, where in you'll be received from the airport. After meeting the tour leader and support staff, gear up and enjoy your first motorcycling experience towards Darjeeling. The journey begins by 13:00 hrs and ends by evening once you reach Darjeeling. You'll check into a deluxe homestay and spend the evening relaxing by a bonfire. At night enjoy some dinner before retiring into your room for sleep.

You'll arrive in Bagdogra early today. All riders have to arrive before 11:00 hrs. After a pick-up from the airport, you'll then make your way towards Darjeeling. You'll spend the night in Darjeeling in deluxe double sharing homestay. Today's meal package includes dinner which will be served at the hotel.

For cancellations made before the departure of the Bhutan motorbiking trip: the booking deposit of INR 5000 is non refundable.
All cancellations/refunds on this trip will be processed after a deduction of INR 200 per person. This fee is charged by The Great Next and is applicable for all cancellations.
The motorbike rider as well as the pillion rider are required to wear a helmet at all times while riding the Bhutan bike trip. A safety helmet will be provided to the travellers by the tour operator.
Travellers are required to follow all instructions of the road captain at all times during the Bhutan motorbiking trip.
Consumption of alcohol and drugs is strictly prohibited during the Bhutan motorbiking trip. Travellers suspected of intoxication will not be allowed to participate in the trip.
Travellers getting their own motorbike must ensure that the vehicle is registered to the rider's name and all the relevant documents (pollution check, insurance and driver's licence, etc.) are in order.
Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.
