The Northeast India motorbiking trip is an enriching 10-day adventure that takes you through the stark landscapes of Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya. This trip takes you between mountains and monasteries as you ride over the high altitude Sela Pass and visit the Chillapam Monastery and Tawang Monastery – the second largest monastery in the world. Other than this, you’ll also ride through the Kaziranga National Park, trek to the Shillong Peak and visit the gorgeous Living Root Bridge.
Moreover, as your journey progresses and you ride deeper into the Dirang, you’ll get to witness a number of beautiful regions such as the Bum La Pass and the Sangestar Lake. Ideal for seasoned motorcyclists, this journey will have a few testing days, but will have all rewarding days.

The northeast region of India mainly comprises of the Eastern Himalayas through landscapes of valleys, high passes and lakes. During this trip, you’ll be riding between the plains of Arunachal Pradesh to Meghalaya as you travel through a plethora of destinations and sites.
Starting from Guwahati, over the next 9 days you’ll travel to Dwaki, Shillong, Cherrapunjee and the Kaziranga National Park within Meghalaya. Your entry point into Arunachal Pradesh will be through Dirang via Balukpong. After this, you’ll travel to the Tawang Valley, the Sela Pass, visit the Bum La Pass and the Sangestar Lake, Kalakthang and Bomdila before returning back to Guwahati.
En route your journey you’ll even pay short visits to many smaller destinations such as the Mawlynnong Village, Tenga and Dirang Dzong, whilst exploring the Mawsmai and Elephanta Caves besides the Seven Sisters and Nokhalikai Waterfall.

Arrive in Guwahati today and check into the hotel. Spend the day resting. In the evening, you'll have a session of orientation, followed by briefing about the upcomming trip. At night feast on a delicious dinner and sleep early for your journey tomorrow.

For cancellations made before the departure of the Northeast India motorbiking trip: the booking deposit of INR 5000 is non refundable.
All cancellations/refunds on this trip will be processed after a deduction of INR 200 per person. This fee is charged by The Great Next and is applicable for all cancellations.
The motorbike rider as well as the pillion rider are required to wear a helmet at all times while riding the Northeast India motorbiking trip. A safety helmet will be provided to the travellers by the tour operator.
Travellers are required to follow all instructions of the road captain at all times during the Northeast India motorbiking trip.
Consumption of alcohol and drugs is strictly prohibited during the Northeast India motorbiking trip.
Travellers suspected of intoxication will not be allowed to participate in the trip.
Travellers getting their own motorbike must ensure that the vehicle is registered to the rider's name and all the relevant documents (pollution check, insurance and driver's licence etc) are in order.
Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.
