    Spend two days surrounded by the pristine forests of Uttarakhand and climb to an altitude of over 9,900 feet to reach Nag Tibba. From the small, hillside village of Pantwari, you'll trek over a gradually ascending route, along a mountain ridge, and walk past village huts surrounded by a lush green forest. As you get closer to the peak, you'll enter forests of rhododendron and oak, often covered with snow in the months of winter, and get astounding views of higher peaks like Mt. Nanda Devi, Mt. Trishul and Mt. Gangotri.

    The trek to Nag Tibba takes you over a gradually inclining route, making it ideal for travellers with little to no trekking experience.

    Nag Tibba, with a peak altitude of over 9,900 feet, is the highest peak in the lesser mountains of the Garhwal Himalayas. An all-weather trek, you'll see heavenly landscapes painted white with fresh snow in the winter, freshly green flowers and leaves in green meadows in the monsoon and open terrain with sweeping views in the summer.

  • Day 1 of Nag Tibba trek: Dehradun to Kathain

    Arrive at the Dehradun railway station at 06:30 hrs. Here, you'll board a private cab and travel to Pantwari. The 4-hr drive will make a brief halt at Nainbagh, where you can stretch your legs and relax. After a short briefing at Pantwari, you'll start the trek and take a gradually ascending route of 5 kms along a mountain ridge. You'll walk past a few village huts among trails surrounded by a lush green forest until you reach your campsite for the night. Overnight in tents at Kathain.

    Today's meal package includes lunch, evening snacks and dinner. Please carry a lunch box with you for the packed lunch. You can have breakfast at Nainbagh, en route to Pantwari, at your own experience. You'll be accommodated in tents at a campsite at Kathain. The tents will have sleeping bags with a fleece liner and a mattress.

    For cancellations made 7 days before departure of the Nag Tibba trek: 70% refund.

    For cancellations made 3-6 days before departure of the Nag Tibba trek: 50% refund.

    For cancellations made less than 3 days before departure of the Nag Tibba trek: no refund.

    In case of no show: no refund.

    All refunds will be processed after a deducting a transaction fee of INR 200 per person. This fee is charged by The Great Next.

    Rules on trip

    Travellers are required to follow instructions of the trek leader during the trek to Nag Tibba.

    Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

    Consumption of alcohol, drugs and tobacco products like cigarettes is strictly prohibited during the Nag Tibba trek.

    Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

    You'll be picked-up from the Dehradun railway station at 06:30 hrs on day 1 and dropped-off at the Dehradun railway station by 21:30 hrs on day 2. Timings are approximate and subject to change or delays. If you miss the pick-up on day 1, you'll need to travel to Pantwari at your own expense.

    The tour operator reserves the right to alter the itinerary of the Nag Tibba trek due to any unforeseen circumstances like bad weather or natural calamities. Travellers will be required to bear the cost of such changes in itinerary.
