The trek to Nag Tibba takes you from 3000 feet to approximately 10,000 feet in just a day's climb and offers you a panoramic view of snow-capped Himalayan ranges. It is one of the best short treks in Uttarakhand that one can embark on to. The trail to Nag Tibba or Serpents' Peak involves negotiating dense oak forest, meeting shepherds along the way, trekking up the green pastures and walking over ridges. After reaching the top, you can enjoy 180-degree views of the snowy Himalayas and explore the lush meadows surrounding your campsite.
Nag Tibba is approximately 100 km away from Dehradun, one of the prime tourist hubs in Uttarakhand. The trek starts from Panthwari village, which is 3-4 hours away from Dehradun. The trail from the village to Nag Tibba summit is a short route of 8 km, passing through oak forests and open grasslands. On this trek, you will be camping at a spectacular campsite with the views of snow-capped Himalayan ranges such as Swargrohini, Bandarpoonch, Kala Nag, Srikantha, and Gangotri. You can also see Kedarkantha peak, Doon valley and snow-covered peaks of Changabang from Nag Tibba. In winter, the entire trail is covered with a thick blanket of snow which can make the trail moderately difficult, but more enjoyable.

Reach Dehradun railway station early in the morning. You will be driven to the base village of the Nag Tibba trek - Panthwari, which is approximately 100 km away from the station. Of the three routes that one can take to reach Nag Tibba, the one via Panthwari village is the shortest route of 8 km. The trail involves 4-5 hours of trekking through dense oak forests, open grasslands and some ridge walk. You will be camping nearby Nagtibba Temple, which is just below the peak. Explore the gorgeous campsite and enjoy the views of the majestic Himalayas. Overnight in your tents at the campsite.

Today's meal package includes lunch and dinner. In the evening, enjoy a cup of ginger/lemon/honey/masala/milk tea with veg pakoda/maggi/popcorn. Mattresses, blankets and pillows will be available in your tents.
