    If you're looking for a monsoon trek in the Western Ghats, but you want to try something a little off-beat, this trek to Naneghat is the perfect adventure for you. You'll be trekking along a well-defined route that leads through patches of thick jungles and boulder-strewn terrain. As you approach Naneghat, the route takes a steep ascent allowing you to get mesmerizing views of the Sahyadri mountain ranges. Make sure to get wear good trekking shoes, since the trek will take you over slippery surfaces soaked with monsoon rains. Perfect for a quick, getaway from the city, this 5-hr trek to Naneghat will take you deep into countryside Maharashtra.

  • Day 1 of the trek to Naneghat: Depart from Mumbai

    Arrive at the Pritam Dhaba in Dadar (East) by 23:00 hrs. Here, you'll meet your fellow trekkers and board a non-AC, shared, private bus or similar vehicle that will drive you to the base village of the Naneghat trek, Vaishakhare. You'll arrive at the base village after a 4-5 hour drive.

    Your trip begins from the Pritam Dhaba in Dadar (East) at 23:00 hrs. No meals are included today, so make sure to have dinner before reporting at the pick-up point for this trek.

    Rules on trip

    Consumption of alcohol, drugs, tobacco products and cigarettes is strictly prohibited during the trip.

    Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

    Children below the age of 15 years are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

    The tour operator reserves the right to cancel or alter the itinerary of the trek to Naneghat to maximize the safety of travellers as well as staff.
