Rules on the trip
Consumption of liquor, drugs, tobacco products and cigarettes is strictly prohibited during the trek to Kalavantin.
Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.
For cancellations made more than 8 days prior to the Kalavantin trek: 75% refund.
For cancellations made 4-7 days prior to the Kalavantin trek: 50% refund.
For cancellations made less than 3 days prior to the Kalavantin trek: No refund.
In case of no show: No refund.
All cancellations will be made after deducting a transaction fee of INR 200 per person. This fee is charged by The Great Next.
Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions
Since temperatures can drop significantly in the night, travellers are advised to carry adequate warm wear.
Prices displayed are applicable to Indian citizens only.
Travellers are required to adhere to the instructions of the trek guide during the trek to Kalavantin.
The tour operator takes utmost care to ensure safety of the travellers and shall not be held responsible for any mishap or accident during the trek to Kalavantin.
Travellers will be required bear any additional costs arising due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, road blocks etc.
Overnight in alpine tents at Prabalmachi.
You have to report at the Panvel railway station at 18:00 hrs. Today's meal package includes only dinner that will be served at the base village. For the night, you'll be given blankets and mattresses within the tent, but do remember to carry an extra jacket.
Your trip ends before nightfall.
Today's meal package includes breakfast which will be served after the trek to Kalavantin, at Prabalmachi. You will be dropped back to Panvel railway station by 13:00 hrs.
