Scuba course
This is a paragraph with little content.

This is another small paragraph.

  • Trip introduction

If you've tried diving before, you know there's nothing more exciting than being underwater, and able to breathe freely while you explore corals and admire the colours. This Open Water certification course teaches you the skills (and gives you the required papers!) to take it up a notch.

You'll be taught more in-depth techniques and skills for diving deeper, both by video and self-study. You'll learn the essentials, from breathing underwater to managing your equipment, and then you'll have a chance to practise it all in 4 dives in the open sea, under the guidance of an instructor. With this certification, you'll be able to go deeper and see more than ever before.

    Destination

The divecenter is situated on Beach no. 3, Havelock Islands, a heaven for divers in the Andaman belt. The Andaman Sea offers one of the highest counts of fish and coral species on the planet. You'll be swimming alongside a mind-boggling array of fish and a profusion of healthy, colourful coral.

You'll have plenty of time to get comfortable with your equipment and feel secure breathing underwater, and you won't be rushed to complete the course if you're not ready. It's a peaceful 4-day adventure in the tropical waters of the the Andaman islands. And after successfully completing this course, you'll receive a certification card from PADI, one of the largest diver training agencies in the world.

    Destination highlights

  • Day 1: Theory

Today you'll begin with the theories of diving. Once you understand why certain techniques are required, or how to perform specific skills, you'll be able to execute them better. Your theory session covered in a mix of video, self-study and instructor briefings, and can be started from home as well.

    Day 2: Shallow Water Training

Today you'll head out into shallow water to practise skills like breathing underwater, as well as more complex techniques like safely removing your equipment underwater.

    Day 3: Open Water Dives

Today is open water day! You'll head out into the deep sea to apply all the skills you've learned. Your instructor is with you at every step, and you'll only proceed at a pace that you're comfortable with. There are 4 dives spread over two days, where you'll practise skills you've learned, try out some new ones, and have a whole lot of fun under the surface.

Day 4: Open Water Dives and Exam

Today you'll go back out to dive again. This time, you'll be more confident and much more comfortable. That means you'll have time to enjoy the sights underwater, and to try out some of your fun techniques. In the afternoon, there's an exam to test if you've retained what you learned over the last few days. This is followed by the final paperwork. Your course ends with filling your shiny new log-book. Congratulations, you're now a certified diver!
