  • Trip introduction

The PADI Open Water Diver course is the most popular diving course in the world, and for good reason. When you're certified to dive to 18 metres, you can explore a wider range of dive sites, including shipwrecks and coral gardens with unusual marine life. You'll also have a chance to see bigger fish and dive within a more experienced community. In the PADI Open Water Diver (OWD) course, you'll be certified to go to a maximum depth of 18 metres or 60 feet. You'll train in 5 theory modules, practise in shallow water, and will enjoy 4 open water dives.

NOTE: To earn the PADI Open Water Diver (OWD) certification, you'll be expected to swim 200 metres (with any swimming stroke) and float for 10 minutes in open water.

IMPORTANT: This course can be done in 3 or 4 days, depending on your comfort levels and ability.
