Do you want to fly like a bird and enjoy breathtaking views of the Sahyadris from the sky? Then paragliding in Mumbai is the perfect trip for you. Paragliding, an extreme adventure sport, is perfect for adrenaline junkies.

While paragliding, you get to enjoy the magnificent landscape dotted here and there with lakes, rivers and railway tracks running across from one side to the other, and the Western Ghats on the horizon.

These paragliding packages include all the equipment and services of an experienced pilot. Apart from these, the flights last for 10 to 15 min, taking you to a height of 2000 feet in the sky. The packages for tandem paragliding in Mumbai cost around INR 3000 per person on a weekday and go up over the weekends. For an additional cost of INR 1000 per flight, you can rent a GoPro from the operator to record your flight.

Paragliding in Mumbai takes place near the small village of Kamshet, located 110 km from Mumbai. It is located within the Western Ghats, offering mesmerizing views and perfect weather conditions for paragliding.

The pick-up point for paragliding in Mumbai is Hotel Rangoli, located on the Old Mumbai-Pune highway (NH4), just before Kamshet. The hotel is on the right side of the highway when you are coming from Mumbai. Here, you'll meet the operator who will take you to the take-off point.

Although many travellers prefer to take their own car to the take-off point, it is recommended that you opt for the pick-up for two reasons.
