    Tandem Paragliding in Solang

    Solang is one of the most beloved holiday spots for travellers to Manali. It's only about 14 kms away, and is a sprawling meadow, covered with sweet green grass in summer and with pristine snow in winter. The slopes of Solang are ideal for multiple adventure activities, and it is a hotspot for skating, zorbing, skiing, paragliding, and rock climbing. Your paragliding trip takes you soaring over the crowds here, and gives you spectacular views of the rolling valleys around Manali. It's a glorious 15 minute flight, where you have nothing to do but sit back and enjoy the experience while the trained instructor manages the glider.

    Solang is a short drive of about half an hour from Manali and is a great day trip if you're staying nearby. At Solang, you'll find plenty to do, and stunning views all around. At a height of over 8000 feet, you'll be getting views of the landscape around. All around, there are beautiful pine forests, views of the mountains in the distance, and rocky outcrops dotting the landscape. The winds are ideal for good, stable, long paragliding flights and the weather is pleasant for most of the year.

    Tandem Paragliding in Solang Photos

    Report to Solang Valley anytime after 09:00 hrs. You'll be assigned to an instructor who will give you a short briefing and explain the equipment to you. After this, you will strap on your equipment. Your paragliding trip begins. You'll soar into the sky, and enjoy a wonderful 15 minute ride through the skies. Once you land, the equipment will be detached. Your trip ends here.

    Cancellation policy

    If cancelled 15 days before the reporting date of the Solang paragliding trip: 50% of the cost is refunded.

    If cancelled 0-15 days before the reporting date of the Solang paragliding trip: No refund.

    No refund for late arrival or no show.

    Any meals/services not availed of by the traveller are not refundable.

    For cancellations or delays in the Solang paragliding flight due to natural causes/security reasons/unavoidable circumstances, the operator is not responsible.

    Rules on trip

    If the instructor believes you to be under the influence of narcotics or alcohol, you will be refused the Solang paragliding flight.

    The flight instructor's decision is final.

    Participants must handle the equipment provided to them with care.

    Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

    The operator does not offer any insurance for accidents, sickness, losses, etc. The traveller is advised to seek their own insurance. 

    Paragliding is a wind-dependent sport, and the Solang tandem paragliding may not take place as scheduled. The operator will do everything within their power to see that everyone gets a full flight.

    You will be required to sign an Indemnity Form before starting the Solang paragliding trip.
