The trek to Peb Fort is of medium intensity, with an exciting trail that consists of steep climb, scaling ladders that sway with the wind, and scrambling over boulders. The route to the fort cuts through lush greenery of the Sahyadris where you'll hop over puddles and cross little streams, and you'll be treated to the gorgeous rolling green landscape of the Western Ghats.
Located close to Neral and Matheran, this trek to Peb Fort takes you deep into the Sahyadris to the ancient Peb Fort. The ancient fort is quite fascinating to explore with its picturesque ruins, ramparts, water cisterns, temples and silo caves. From the fort, you'll get gorgeous views of some other forts like Chanderi, Prabalgad, Malangad, and Irshalgad.

Today, you'll be picked up from the Travel Café by 06:30 hrs, from where you'll be driven to the base village. From there, you'll begin your trek to the Peb Fort. On the trek, you'll be treated to the breathtaking views of the Sahyadri mountain ranges. After spending some time at the fort, you'll descend back down and board the bus that'll take you back to Pune. You'll be dropped back in Pune by 22:00 hrs. Your trip ends here.

It is mandatory to carry an ID card for this trip.
