Parashar Lake, situated at an elevation of 9000 feet above sea level, is a beautiful still water lake located amidst Dhauladhar ranges in the Kullu valley of Himachal Pradesh. The lake is named after a sage who lived and meditated on the banks of the lake. An aesthetic, three-storied temple is built in the honour of Parashar Rishi, alongside the lake. Parashar Lake is accessible throughout the year, however, during the months July-September, the surrounding of the lake is flourishing with greenery blossoming flowers, and covered with a thick blanket of snow from January to mid-March.
