Mandi Bus Stand is well connected by means of road.
If there's one reason to visit this lake, it's for the floating island in the middle that mysteriously changes location every now and then! But there are plenty of other reasons to go: a short trek of only two days that takes you into the lap of the mountains; beautiful pine forests to walk through, snow-covered peaks of the Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar ranges, and the gorgeous lake itself.
Lake Parashar is named after the sage who meditated there, and it has a peaceful vibe that'll make you feel meditative too.
IMPORTANT: A minimum group size of 6 pax is required to make a booking.
With just one short journey, you'll be whisked away from the city and into the mountains. In one short, easy trek, you'll cross small rivulets, wind through forests, and be rewarded with spectacular Himalayan vistas. You'll get to spend an evening in the middle of a pine-forest, a short distance away from an ancient temple. This trip is suitable for first-timers and those looking for a quick getaway.
