  • Trip introduction

    The thundering rapids of the Ganges have invited adventure enthusiasts to battle the thrilling rapids for years now. On this trip, you'll be rafting from Shivpuri to Rishikesh with trained guides and professional equipment. It is a 16 kms stretch and takes 2-3 hours to complete, and you'll meet famous rapids like Roller Coaster, Golf Course, and Club House. Once you float into more peaceful waters, you'll be able to do some cliff jumping, body surfing, and swimming. Expect some big waves and hydraulics on this moderate intensity rafting adventure that can be undertaken by non-swimmers as well. This package also includes one night's stay in eco-tents on the banks of the gurgling Huel River, with a bonfire evening.

    Rishikesh is one of the best destinations for rafting in India, and attracts adventure travellers from around the world. The churning waters of the Ganges gush down from the Himalayas, fed by glaciers and melting snow, offering big splashes and hydraulics to test your mettle. Located around 50 kms from the nearest airport in Dehradun, your campsite is nestled at a peaceful location, away from the city. You'll be staying in eco-tents on the banks of the Huel River, with plenty to do during the day, and blazing bonfires to gather around at night.

    Rules on the trip

    Smoking, chewing tobacco or consuming alcohol is prohibited during the Rishikesh rafting trip.

    Littering around the campsite or in the water bodies is strictly prohibited.

    You must adhere to the instructions of the rafting instructor at all times.

    Cancellation policy

    For cancellations made 15 days or more before check-in date of this Rishikesh rafting trip: You will be allowed to transfer your booking to anytime in the next 3 months.

    For cancellations made 0-15 days before check-in date of the Rishikesh rafting trip: No refund.

    Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

    In case of injury, damage to self or property or death, the operator will not be held responsible.

    Rafting in Rishikesh is arranged considering normal weather. In case of cancellation of any event due to reasons beyond control such as natural calamities, riots, political uncertainty, public transport failure etc, refund shall be payable with respect to the given cancellation policy.

    There will be no refunds or discounts given for services unused or missed due to traveller's own fault, negligence or breach of terms.

    Children below 6 years of age have complimentary stay with no rafting.

    Children between the age of 6-12 years of age will be charged INR 945 (rafting not included).

    Children above the age of 12 years will be charged the same as adults.

    The resort is under 24-hour CCTV surveillance with security guards monitoring the single entry point and is safe for school/ college students and solo travellers.

    Portable speakers are available at the campsite free of cost with a deposit amount (on returnable basis) that has to be paid at the reception.

  • Day 1 of Rishikesh rafting trip: Arrive at eco-camp

    You'll check into your campsite at noon where you eco-tents will be allocated to you. After a delicious lunch, you can try your hand at the various outdoor sports available on the campsite or dip your toes in the cool waters of the Huel River. In the evening, set out for a sunset hike near the campsite and return to light snacks served around a blazing bonfire. You’ll have a scrumptious dinner before retiring to your tents for the night. Overnight stay in Swiss tents.

    Day 2 of rafting in Rishikesh: Rafting on the Ganges

    You’ll wake up to the sound of chirping birds. After a delicious breakfast, you’ll pack up and check out of the campsite. After that, you'll head to Shivpuri for your rafting session on the Ganges. Your rafting session starts at Shivpuri and you will battle the rapids on a 16 kms stretch. Once you've crossed the bigger rapids, you'll go to a calmer spot where you can try cliff-jumping and body surfing. You’ll be dropped off at Laxman Jhula. Your trip ends here.
