    Monsoon river rafting on the Mhadei river

    The monsoons in Goa are usually low-season, but these months are prime time for adventure sports. The torrential rains swell the rivers and turn the state into an emerald-green paradise. Rafting on the Mhadei river is a blast during this season! You'll get to experience Grade 2 to 4 rapids, which is mid-level to complex level.

    It's pretty thrilling to be on a boat that defies gravity, leaping with the waves and rolling over the churning water. The skies above are grey and cloudy, and you feel strong winds too! This adventure is a great introduction to adventure rafting.

    IMPORTANT: This is not a fixed departure trip, and requires a minimum of 2 pax to make a booking.

    The beautiful Mhadie river is located in the Mhadei wildlife sanctuary, in a lush jungle landscape around a 100 kms from Panjim in the tropical state of Goa. The rapids range from grade 2 to grade 3 rapids mainly consisting of smaller waves and clear channels with slightly turbulent stretches that require a little more manoeuvring.

    You will be picked up from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle, and driven to the start point in Valpoi. It's a scenic drive and you'll enjoy meeting other participants as you go along. Once you reach, there is a short briefing session to familiarize you with rules and safety precautions. Your equipment will be assigned to you, and you'll begin the rafting. | Enjoy a few hours on the Mhadei, battling the rapids and getting thoroughly drenched! There are some peaceful spots that you can row past, admiring the scenery and the weather, but mostly you'll find yourself laughing and shouting in glee as the rives rages around you. Trip ends later in the day, when you will be dropped off at your hotel, full of fun memories and great action stories.

    Cancellation policy

    The cancellation charges will be as follows:

    25% if cancelled three days in advance

    50% if cancelled two days in advance

    100% if cancelled one day prior to booking or on the same day

    Rules on trip

    Participants should not consume any kind of alcohol before the trip.

    Participants should wear comfortable clothes and not loose clothes, and should carry towels along.

    Flip flops/slippers are not allowed. Tennis shoes and strap-on sandals are a good choice for this activity.

    In the event of unfavourable weather conditions, the trip may be cancelled from our end, in which case a 100% of the booking amount is refunded.
