    Karjat is a small city that lies at a distance of 75 kms from Mumbai. Home to the Ulhas Valley, this region is rife with breathtaking natural beauty. From thick jungles to overflowing waterfalls and full rivers, this region also offers some brilliant trekking routes especially during the monsoon. Moreover, as it houses the raging Pej River, it has recently become a popular hub for rafting enthusiasts.

    For this rafting session, you’ll be rafting over 7 kms on the Pej River whilst catching sight of the lush greenery on either side of the river.

    Weekend River Rafting in Karjat Photos

    Reach the rafting start point according to your selected time slot. Your instructor will give you a short briefing about the do's and don’ts of rafting. Once you're ready, you'll strap on your life jackets and hop into the rafts.

    Over the next 2 hours you'll raft over 7 kms on the Pej River and battle 12 rapids of grades III and IV.

    At the end of your rafting session, you'll be dropped back to the start point where you can freshen up and change into dry clothes. Your trip ends here.

      I am out of words to describe Rendezvous Camp. It gives you must have once in a lifetime experience, true luxury, cleanest water of river Ganga near campsite. The food was way too good, felt like home, the staff was too friendly and co-operative. They are the challenge takes and never put you down rather they would exceed your expectations. I suggest this camp 'only' to whomever wants to travel to Rishikesh. Mr. Venkat from TGN was too patient and prompt to go through all girls' random thoughts and fluctuating plans. He only made me put all my trust in him and walk right into the camp without any worries, knowing he will help us out anywhere, anytime.
