    New Year Kolad Rafting+Cottage stay

On the night of the 31st, you'll gather around a campfire with countdown to midnight with your fellow campers. The next day, you'll start the new year 2019 with a thrilling, 2-hr session of rafting on the Kundalika River. This trip is ideal for a quick getaway for families or groups of friends, looking to celebrate New Year 2019 in a unique way.

    Kolad is a small town in the Konkan region of Maharashtra, right along the Kundalika River. Every morning, the massive Bhira dam opens its gates to release water for agriculture, turning the river into a rushing force of nature. You'll have a thrilling ride along the rapids for two hours. Your campsite, amidst lush greenery and swaying trees, will host your New Year 2019 night around a bonfire. You'll be accommodated in clean, cosy cottages with an attached bathroom, comfortable beds with blankets and pillows.

In the evening, you'll gather around a bonfire with your fellow campers to celebrate New Year 2019. At the countdown to midnight, you'll cut a cake and welcome the new year.     Wake up to the first day of the new year 2019. Today, you'll participate in a thrilling, 2-hr session of rafting in Kolad. During the 12-km stretch on the Kundalika River, you'll ride inflatable rafts over the waves and tides of the river. Return to the campsite after the rafting activity. You'll rest after an exhausting morning and check-out by 15:00 hrs. Your trip ends here.

    Your trip ends by late afternoon.

    Today's meal package includes breakfast and lunch only. You'll check-out of the campsite after your rafting session.

    Cancellation policy

    For cancellations made 7 days or more before check-in date of the New Year 2019 Kolad rafting trip: 100% refund.

    For cancellations made 4-6 days before check-in date of the New Year 2019 Kolad rafting trip: 75% refund.

    For cancellations made 3 days before check-in date of the New Year 2019 Kolad rafting trip: 50% refund.

    For cancellations made 2 days before check-in date of the New Year 2019 Kolad rafting trip: 50% refund.

    For cancellations made before check-in date of the New Year 2019 Kolad rafting trip: no refund.

    In case of no show: no refund.

    All refunds will be processed after deducting a transaction fee of INR 200 per person. This fee is charged by The Great Next.

    Rules on trip

    Travellers younger than 14 years of age are strictly not allowed to participate in rafting.

    Travellers are required to follow instructions of the rafting instructor while rafting in Kolad.

    Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

    Consumption of alcohol, drugs and tobacco products like cigarettes is strictly prohibited during the New Year 2019 Kolad rafting trip.

    Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

    Rafting in Kolad is a water-dependent activity. The tour operator will not be responsible for last minute cancellation of the rafting trip due to inadequate or unsuitable water or weather conditions.

    The tour operator reserves the right to alter or cancel the itinerary of the New Year 2019 Kolad rafting trip to maximize the safety of travellers and staff. Any costs arising due to such a change in the itinerary are borne by the traveller.

    The tour operator takes utmost care to ensure safety of the travellers and shall not be held responsible for any mishap or accident during the New Year 2019 Kolad rafting trip.
