    Overnight Stay in Kolad: Weekend Rafting and Cottage Stay

    Take off for a fun escape from the city! You'll go rafting in Kolad and enjoy a range of activities like Tarzan Swing, Commando Net, and Burma Bridge. You'll check in at tea time and end the day with a peaceful evening under the stars. At night you'll sleep in clean and comfortable riverside cottages with attached bathrooms. In the morning, you'll enjoy a delicious breakfast, and then head out for a thrilling 2-hour Kolad river rafting session on the Kundalika. After that, you can dive into the river for a refreshing swim!

    IMPORTANT: Each cottage is an 8-person cottage and you'll need a minimum group of 6 persons to book this.

    Destination

    Every morning of the year, the gates of the massive Bhira dam are opened, turning the relatively serene Kundalika river into a body of churning water. This means that the rafting here is not weather-dependent, so adventurers from everywhere flock to Kolad year-round, to enjoy the tropical forest atmosphere and the pleasant water.

    In the summer, the region around is dry and brown, but around the river, it is always lush and cool. During the monsoon, the entire region turns into a lush green paradise, with grey stormy skies and a host of wildlife and birds. Winter has its own charm, with morning mists, chilly evenings around bonfires, and the fun of being dunked in the cold water on a sunny morning.

    Your non-a/c cottage can accommodate 8 persons and has twin-sharing beds. There is an attached washroom for each cottage.

    Check in by 16:00 hrs, and enjoy an evening by the river at this green campsite. You can try out some of the complimentary adventure activities like Burma Bridge, Commando Net, Tarzan Swing and more. As the day winds down, feast on a delicious dinner and go to sleep in your cottages with your gang.

    You'll start your day with breakfast and then attend a short briefing session and then the fun begins! Set out on the Kundalika river, fighting to push your boat through grade III-IV rapids while you keep balance. It's a long stretch of 12 kms, and 2 hours later, you will reach the end point where you can take a refreshing dip in the river and spend some time splashing around. Dig in to a big lunch back at the campsite before relaxing a bit. Participants myst check out by 15:00. Your Kolad rafting trip ends here.

    Cancellation policy

    If cancellation is done more than 2 days prior to the departure date of the Kolad river rafting: 100% of the total trip cost is refunded, minus any transaction charges.

    No refund will be made if cancellation is made within 48 hrs prior to the departure date of the Kolad river rafting.

    Rules on trip

    All travellers will have to abide by the decisions taken by the instructors when it comes to safety and trip participation on the Kolad river rafting trip.

    Consumption of alcohol or drugs is not permitted while rafting in Kolad.

    Participants must respect local culture and should not litter or deface natural structures/monuments.

    Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

    The operator reserves all rights to change the venue/date/schedule or cancel the rafting in Kolad.

    Transfer of booking for Kolad river rafting will be permitted where feasible and will be at the discretion of the management.

    For this overnight stay + rafting in Kolad package, there are two 8-person cottages (min. of 6 persons required to book), one 12-person cottage (min. of 9 persons required to book), two 16-person cottages (min. of 11 persons required to book).
