Escape to the riverside paradise of Kolad where you and your friends take on the churning waters of the Kundalika. This rafting escape puts you face-to-face with grade II to grade IV rapids, and will leave you drenched!

At an additional cost, you can also try your hand at adventure activities like wall climbing, rappelling, river crosing, zip-lining and more. At night, you'll dig into a lavish buffet meal and settle into your comfortable air-cooled tents with concrete walls and attached washrooms.

IMPORTANT: This is not a fixed departure trip. Travellers require a minimum group size of 4 travellers is required to make a booking.

Strategically placed at a 2-hour drive from both Mumbai as well as Pune, Kolad is an ideal place to camp out if you are looking for a quick getaway from bustling city life. The picturesque campsite is spread across 50 acres of land with quick access to a high hill and a beautiful lake. Your tents have concrete walls to protect you from the elements, but a canvas roof to ensure you're always close to nature. All tents come with attached washrooms.

You're welcome to check-in any time after 17:00 hrs. Check-in to your tents and go out for a short walk to explore the beautiful surroundings of the campsite. High tea will be served. At an additional cost, you can also participate in adventure activities like rappelling, zip-lining, river crossing and more. Relax with friends all evening, until its time for an elaborate dinner. Overnight in air-cooled tents with concrete walls with attached washrooms.

You'll sleep in canvas-roof accommodation to feel close to nature.

All tents are clean and spacious standalone accommodation with attached washrooms, on four-sharing basis.

After a delicious breakfast, you and your group head towards the start for a short briefing. The fun begins now! Your raft dives head-first into the rapids, and it's all hands on deck! You'll be passing some very beautiful scenery, and there are some peaceful stretches where you can enjoy your surroundings. Are you going to take a dip in the river too? After a couple of hours of rafting fun, return to your campsite in time for lunch. You've definitely worked up an appetite! You'll return to the campsite for a big lunch. Check out time is 15:00 hrs. Your trip ends here.

After your rafting session and a big lunch, you'll be required to check out by 15:00 hrs.

  • Accommodation in air-cooled tents for 1 night on a quad-sharing basis (can be changed to triple-sharing for a total trip cost of INR 4,500)

Cancellation policy

For cancellations made more than 14 days prior to departure of the Kolad rafting trip: 75% refund.

For cancellations made 7-14 days before departure of the Kolad rafting trip: 50% refund.

For cancellations made 0-6 days before departure of the Kolad rafting trip: No refund.

No show: No refund.

All refunds will be processed after deducting any transaction charges.

Rules on trip

Travellers are required to adhere to instructions of the rafting instructor while rafting in Kolad.

Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

Valuables like mobiles, cameras and money are to be carried at your own risk.

Rafting in Kolad is dependent on the water released from the dams of Bhira and Mulshi. The tour operator cannot be held responsible for insufficient or unsafe water conditions.

The tour operator reserves the right to cancel or alter the itinerary of this Kolad rafting trip to maximize the safety of travellers as well as staff.

Travellers will be required to bear any additional costs arising due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, road blocks etc.
