Full of excitement at every turn – during the day you’ll raft and kayak on Bhote Koshi’s fierce waters as you fight rapids of grades III and IV while passing through landscapes of stunning beauty. After your rafting session, you’ll set up your campsite on a gorgeous beach.
A great way to get your adrenaline pumping, this trip is ideal for adventure enthusiasts. However, as Bhote Koshi’s gradient is steep, it can be a challenging adventure even for seasoned adventurists.
The Bhote Koshi River is a beautiful river that lies in the hilly regions outside Kathmandu and is considered as one of the steepest rivers of Nepal. Originating from the Zhangzangbo Glacier in Tibet – the course of this river is a wild one consisting of many steep parts, rocky patches, swift turns and rapids from grade III up to grade V. During your rafting sessions you’ll encounter rapids such as Barking Dog, Midnight Special, Great Wall, Liquid Bliss and Dazed and Confused amongst others.
After a night of camping in the wilderness, the next day you’ll drive up to Jambu to begin your next leg of rafting. This journey concludes at the Sukute Beach from where you’ll drive back to Kathmandu.

III and IV+
Arrive at the office in Thamel by 06:00 hrs sharp for a 06:30 hrs departure. You'll depart for Khadichour which takes about 3 hrs. En route the journey you may stop at Zero Kilo for tea or coffee. Once you reach Khadichour the rafts will be set up followed by a thorough briefing. After this you'll embark on a refreshing rafting and kayaking session along the gorgeous Bodh Koshi River. This stretch lasts for about 16 kms and includes rapids of grade III. After the rafting session you'll set up your camp on a riverside beach where you can spend your day relaxing and exploring around. At night feast on a wholesome dinner before retiring into your tents for some restful sleep.

You'll begin your journey from the office in Thamel, Kathmandu from where you'll be driven to Khadichour via private transport. En route your journey you'll have a quick stop at Zero Kilo for a quick tea/coffee at your own expense. From Khadichour you'll begin your rafting session. At the end of your rafting session you'll set up your camp at a river side beach where you'll be accommodated in comfortable twin or double sharing tents that are equipped with simple mattresses and comfortable sleepi
