The easiest way to reach Pokhara is via flight through the Pokhara Airport. From the airport you can easily use any channel of local transport to reach the Lakeside region.
This 2-day Lower Seti river rafting trip is an exciting adventure that takes you through Nepal’s scenic landscapes as you pass through lush greenery and mountain gorges while battling some thrilling rapids.
Ideal for beginners and families, this journey is not too strenuous but quite enjoyable with gentle terrain and pleasant warm water. Over 2 days, you’ll battle rapids of grades II and III as you pass through different parts of the river. As your journey progresses, you’ll also get to witness a wide variety of Nepal’s rustic landscapes; from local villages and terraced rice fields, you’ll catch sight of waterfalls, suspension bridges, jungles rife with wildlife and gorgeous riverside sandy beaches – one of which you’ll even camp on.
Considered as one of Nepal’s holiest rivers, the Seti Gandaki River originates from the Tibetan Plateau and meanders its way through a deep gorge through the Himalayas. Named after ‘Kali’ the goddess of destruction, this river has made a place for itself in many tales of Hindu Mythology. It is also a left tributary of the Trishuli River.
During this trip, you’ll make your way from Pokhara till the Chitwan National Park, a journey will encompass many of Nepal’s rugged landscapes. Thus, you’ll start with a bus ride from Pokhara till Damauli and then begin your rafting session. On the next day, you’ll end your adventure at the Ghai Ghat from where you’ll be driven back to Pokhara.

II and III
Be ready at your hotel for a pick-up by 06:30 hrs. Please do note that pick-ups take place from hotels situated in the lakeside area in Pokhara. You'll travel to the centre from where you'll board the private bus towards Damauli by 07:00 hrs. Once you reach, you'll undergo a thorough briefing before starting the rafting session. You'll enjoy battling grades II and III rapids. After rafting for a few hours, you'll find a secluded beach where you'll set up your campsite. Spend your evening exploring around and relaxing. At night, you'll feast on a healthy dinner before retiring into your tents for some restful sleep.
Overnight in tents.
You'll begin your journey with a pick-up from the lakeside area of Pokhara by 06:30 hrs. Today's package includes freshly prepared meals of lunch and dinner. Besides this, you'll also be offered tea, coffee, hot chocolate and drinking water. You'll spend the night on a secluded riverside beach in Damauli in twin sharing camp tents that are equipped with simple mattresses and sleeping bags. Please do carry additional blankets/shawls for your protection.
