    Immerse yourself in the beauty of Nepal through this exhilarating 2-day Trishuli River rafting trip. A great way to both explore its abundant natural beauty and enjoy the thrill of adventure, this journey takes you on a quest of rafting and camping in its deep wilderness.

    You’ll spend days battling rapids of grades III and IV on its fierce waters as you pass through destination after destination. While rafting, you’ll also catch glimpses of surrounding forests, farms and smaller villages.

    At night you’ll camp in Charaudi – a quaint little region that is surrounded by meadows and trees with only the soothing sound of the river flowing in the background. Here you’ll enjoy delicious meals and nature trails as you fall asleep under its starry skies, only to wake up to another beautiful day of rafting.

    Destination

    Known as one of the main tributaries of the Narayani River basin, the Trishuli River is considered as the most popular rafting river in Nepal. Not only does it possess impressive gorges, exciting rapids and gorgeous surrounding sceneries – but due to its easy sections and easy accessibility, it is a great river for first-timers or even experienced rafters.

    During your rafting session you’ll encounter many rapids of grades III and IV such as Snell’s Nose, Monkey and Teen Devi. After spending the night camping, you’ll then move on to the village of Kuringhat. This stretch of rafting includes rapids such as Upset, Monsoon, Butterfly, Twin Rocks and Lightening amongst many others.

  • Trishuli River Rafting Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Baireni and Rafting till Charaudi

    Arrive at the office in Thamel by 06:00 hrs for a sharp 06:30 hrs departure. You'll travel to Baireni via private vehicle. At Baireni, you'll set up your rafts and undergo a thorough briefing about the upcoming rafting session. After this, you'll hit some grade III and IV rapids such as Snell's Nose, Monkey and Teen Devi towards Charaudi. Once you reach Charaudi, you'll set up your camp and freshen up. After this you'll feast on a delicious lunch. Post lunch you can spend the day as you like. If you like you can enjoy some swimming or embark on a short nature walk. In the evening return to the campsite for dinner. Post dinner you can either enjoy star gazing and can retire into your tents for the night.

    You'll begin your journey from the office in Thamel, Kathmandu from where you'll be driven to Baireni via private transport. Today's meal package includes a delicious lunch consisting of bread, cheese, salami, tuna, aardines, baked beans, salads, fresh fruits and biscuits. In the evening you'll also be provided with a complete dinner. This includes pasta, french fries, curries, steamed or fried vegetables.     For the 2-day Trishuli River rafting trip pick-ups take place from the office in Thamel, Kathmandu. For drop-offs you'll be driven back to Kathmandu, with the option of going to Chitwan or Pokhara.

    Travellers from outside Thailand are requested to carry enough cash in the local currency to cover tips to staff and other incidental expenses during the 2-day Trishuli River rafting trip.

    All prices displayed are subject to fluctuations based on international currency exchange rates at the time of booking. Accordingly, prices may be subject to a foreign currency premium/discount at the time of booking. 

    The tour operator takes utmost care to ensure safety of the travellers and shall not be held responsible for any mishap, accident or loss of life during the 2-day Trishuli River rafting trip.

    The tour operator reserves the right to cancel or alter the itinerary of this course depending upon the weather conditions and other factors. If extra costs are incurred due to changes in the itinerary, they will be borne by the traveler.
