You’ll begin by travelling to the forested regions outside Kathmandu to ride Bhote Koshi’s challenging waves as you navigate your way through rapids of grades III and IV. As your journey progresses, you’ll also catch glimpses of Nepal’s breathtaking natural beauty - from vast pastures and farmlands to unfiltered forests and snow-capped Himalayan peaks in the background.
Known for its steep gradient and fierce waters, this experience will keep your adrenaline pumping from the very start to the end. However, please do note, that due to the nature of its course, it is a challenging adventure.
Originating from the Zhangzangbo Glacier in Tibet, the Bhote Koshi consists of the upper river course of the Sun Koshi River and is considered as the steepest river in Nepal. Although a popular rafting destination for adventure enthusiasts. it is known for its wild route. During your rafting sessions, you’ll encompass many steep patches, swift turns and raging rapids of grades III and IV such as Barking Dog, Midnight Special, Great Wall, Liquid Bliss and Dazed and Confused amongst plenty of others.
For this trip you’ll begin your journey from Thamel in Kathmandu and drive towards Khadichaur. From Khadichaur, you’ll begin your rafting adventure over the Bhote Koshi and end it at the Sukute Beach. After feasting on a wholesome lunch you’ll then drive back to Kathmandu.

Reach the office in Thamel by 06:00 hrs for a 06:30 hrs departure. From Thamel, you'll travel to Khadichour over 3 hrs. In between, you'll have a brief stop at Zero Kilo for tea/coffee. Once you reach Khadichour, you'll undergo a thorough briefing followed by setting up the rafts to embark on your exhilarating rafting session. During this journey, you'll battle many rapids of grades III and IV+ such as Barking Dog, Midnight Special, Great Wall, Liquid Bliss and Golden Gate etc. You'll end your trip at the Sukute Beach where you'll get a chance to freshen up and feast on a filling lunch before driving back to Kathmandu. You'll leave the Sukute Beach by 17:00 hrs and reach Kathmandu by 21:00 hrs. Your trip ends here.

You'll begin your journey from the office in Thamel, Kathmandu from where you'll be driven to Khadichour via private transport. As it a 3 hour drive, en route your journey you'll stop at Zero Kilo for tea or coffee at your own expense. You'll conclude your journey at the Sukute Beach.
