Camp overnight in tents pitched in gorgeous wilderness and enjoy three hours of rafting over class III and IV rapids of the Bhote Koshi River in Nepal. With sturdy paddles in hand, you'll hop into inflatable rafts and navigate the raging rapids, with tricky sections that'll splash cool river water all over you. During the calmer sections of the river, be sure to look up at the towering mountain cliffs around you, with terraced farms and fields, and take a moment to admire the incredible beauty of the Bhote Koshi valley. Expert trainers will accompany you to guide the raft and maintain proper safety at all times.

The campsite for your day adventure of rafting in Nepal is located near the deep gorges of Listikot. Despite being easily accessible via a 3-hr drive from Kathmandu, the campsite is located amidst dense and remote wilderness, along the Koshi River, where you'll go rafting. You'll paddle forward on the river in an inflatable raft, bouncing up and down on foaming white rapids, with views of lime green, terraced farms around you. You'll speed under suspension bridges where curious local natives often gather to watch the rafts surging over the tides.

This overnight adventure package also includes travel arrangements between Thamel, Kathmandu and the Listikot campsite, as well as overnight stay in tents pitched across the mountain slopes.

Arrive at the tour operator's office in Thamel, Kathmandu by 05:45 or 07:45 hrs in the morning. The exact time will be confirmed with you a day prior to the activity date. From here, you'll travel to the activity site in a bus. A 3-hr ride later, you'll reach the activity site and head out to the rafting start point. Here, expert instructors will brief you on the proper protocols before handing out life jackets and spray jackets. Over the next 3 hrs, you'll go rafting over multiple rapids down the Bhote Koshi River and return to the campsite.

After your activity, you can spend some time exploring the gorgeous landscape by the Koshi River. At an additional cost, you can also book other adventure activities like rafting or bungee jumping. Overnight in tents at the Listikot campsite.

Report at the tour operator's office in Thamel, Kathmandu by 05:45 or 07:45 hrs. You will travel to the campsite by bus and go rafting. You'll be accommodated in safari tents on twin/quad-sharing basis. The tents come with comfortable bedding, locker facility and luggage rack. The campsite is equipped with common kitchen/dining tent and washroom/shower tent. Today's meal package includes a buffet lunch and dinner.

Cancellation policy

For cancellations made more than 2 days before the Nepal rafting trip: 85% refund.

For cancellations made between 1-2 days before the Nepal rafting trip: 50% refund.

For cancellations made less than 24 hours before the Nepal rafting trip: no refund.

In case of no show: no refund.

All refunds will be processed after deducting a transaction fee. Please check with us what this fee will be for the Nepal rafting trip. All refunds will be subject to a foreign currency premium/discount.

Rules on trip

Travellers are required to follow instructions of the adventure guide during rafting in Nepal.

Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

Consumption of alcohol and drugs is strictly prohibited during the trip.

Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

Travellers are required to report at the start point in Thamel, Kathmandu by 05:45 hrs to board a bus and travel to the activity site. If you're arriving at the activity site via your own transport, you're required to arrive by 09:30 hrs.

Travellers will depart the activity site by 17:00 hrs on the same day. However, due to weather or traffic conditions, the departure time may be delayed.

Travellers are required to be older than 18 years to participate in any adventure activity. Younger travellers require parental consent.

The tour operator takes utmost care to ensure safety of the travellers and shall not be held responsible for any mishap or accident during rafting in Nepal.
