Located in central Nepal, the Trishuli River is known as one of the major tributaries of the Narayani River basin in central Nepal. Originally it enters Nepal through Gyirong Town as a stream from Tibet.
However, as it gains volume along the way from the melting snow of the Mount Ganesh and Langtang, it has come to become a popular destination of white water rafting. Moreover, as it also houses impressive gorges and rapids combined with easy accessibility, this river is preferred over other rivers of Nepal by rafting enthusiasts.
