    Travel to Rishikesh for a thrilling, 2-hr session of river rafting and ride the twists and turns of the Ganges. With paddles in hand, you'll battle rapids rated grade II and III, as you navigate the raft over gurgling tides and waves of the river. In the evening, you can relax at a photogenic campsite, grab views of a crimson sunset and even head out for a short trek to a nearby haunted house.

The thrill of your inflatable rafts speeding down the flowing river is what attracts adventure lovers from all over the country. Aside from the rapids, gorgeous views of green mountains surrounding the river are a soothing sight during the calmer stretches of the river.

    You'll be staying at a scenic campsite, located a short drive from the Ganga River, in Swiss tents that come equipped with basic facilities like comfortable beds with mattresses and chairs. You'll have access to shared washrooms at the campsite.

  • Day 1 of rafting in Rishikesh: Check-in and go rafting!

    Arrive at the campsite by noon and check-in to your tents. Immediately after lunch, you'll head out to Marine Drive in a private vehicle for a thrilling session of rafting down the Ganges. You'll face grade II and III rapids like Good Morning, Three Blind Mice and many more. After your 2/3-hr session of rafting, you'll return to the campsite for an evening at leisure. You can play some beach volleyball or participate in a short trek to a nearby haunted house. Overnight in tents at the Rishikesh campsite.

    Check-in time at the campsite is 12 noon. You'll be accommodated in Swiss tents, equipped with comfortable beds with blankets and pillows. You'll have access to common washrooms at the campsite. Today's meal package includes lunch, evening snacks and dinner.

    For cancellations made 30 days or more before check-in date of the Rishikesh rafting camp: 70% refund.

    For cancellations made 15-29 days before check-in date of the Rishikesh rafting camp: 50% refund.

    For cancellations made 7-14 days before check-in date of the Rishikesh rafting camp: 25% refund.

    For cancellations made less than 6 days before check-in date of the Rishikesh rafting camp: no refund.

    In case of no show: no refund.

    All refunds will be processed after deducting a transaction fee of INR 200 per person. This fee is charged by The Great Next.

    Rules on trip

    Travellers are required to follow instructions of the rafting instructor during the rafting activity.

    Travellers are required to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

    Check-in time at the campsite is 12:00 hrs, while check-out time at the campsite is 11:00 hrs.

    Rafting in Rishikesh is a water-dependant activity. The tour operator will not be responsible for any last minute cancellations of the rafting activity due to unsuitable water or weather conditions.
