On this 5 day escapade, you'll spend two nights at a riverside campsite in Rishikesh, and then move to a hillside campsite in Kanatal, giving you the complete Himalayan experience.
You'll participate in one of the best river rafting experiences in India, combined with the thrill of cliff jumping and swimming in the holy Ganges. For two hours, you'll bump up and down over the waves of the Ganges as you raft over a 16-km stretch. Apart from rafting, you'll also participate in a range of adventure activities like Burma Bridge, rappelling, rock-climbing and valley crossing. Another highlight of this trip, you'll embark on a guided trek to Surkanda Ascent, at 10,000 feet, offering gorgeous views of the Greater Himalayas! This one's a complete mountain and river adventure!

The first part of your adventure is at a delightful riverside campsite at Rishikesh, located inside a national park. The sound of the river fills the air, lulling you to sleep at night. There are mountains all around, and the weather is pleasant, even cool in the evenings. For the next two nights, you'll be moved to a hillside campsite in Kanatal, about 70 kms away. Here, you'll stay amidst beautiful pine and oak forests, with closer views of the mountains and lush greenery all around.
You'll stay in comfortable tents with bedding, neat western/Indian toilets with flush and running water. Apart from your thrilling rafting session, you may explore the forests with short hikes. The campsite hosts a bonfire, every night where you can gather and have fun. Alternatively, you can also head out for the Ganga Aarti ceremony at Rishikesh.

Inflatable rafts
Check in at noon. You'll be given a short briefing about the campsite, and your tents will be allocated to you. Enjoy a delicious lunch, and then head out for a waterfall trek, and a visit to the local village. Take a break for evening tea and cookies, relax. A roaring bonfire and snacks are arranged as the evening gets colder, and then you'll dive in to a hot dinner. At night, you'll retire to the tents, and fall into your cots. Spend the night at Camp Wildex
You'll check in to a comfortable, spacious twin-sharing tents with groundsheets and mesh windows to keep insects out. Each tent has cots with mattresses, sheets, pillows, and blankets, and is on a raised platform with a verandah area. The toilets are a little distance away, with both Western/Indian style flushing toilets with running water. There is also a separate bathing area.

The campsite has common charging points in the hall area, where you may charge your cell phones and other gadgets.
Travellers are required to adhere to instructions of the rafting instructor, trek leader and tour guide during the Rishikesh rafting and trekking trip.
Consumption of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited during the trip.
