Enjoy a rafting and camping getaway in Rishikesh for two nights and three days. This itinerary gives you plenty of time to enjoy your comfortable rafting camp in Rishikesh, as well as spend plenty of time outdoors. Try your hand at kayaking, rock-climbing and rappelling, or relaxing and taking in nature, depending on what you're looking for. The next day, you head out for a thrilling rafting session that pits you against Grade III and III+ rapids. You'll be rafting from Marine Drive to Laxman Jhula, covering 26 kms in 3 hours, battling rapids like Three Blind Mice, Roller Coaster, Golf Course, and Clubhouse. After that, you return to the campsite for one more night, and check out on the third day.

IMPORTANT: This Rishikesh rafting trip is not a fixed departure trip. It requires a minimum of 2 pax for a booking confirmation.

Destination

Your rafting camp in Rishikesh is located near Beasi or Byasi. This is one of the finest spots in the Rishikesh region, for rafting and for camping, and you'll be the lucky ones to do both. The campsite is just across the road from the river, and you'll be able to walk to the water in just five minutes. The river is clean and refreshingly cool, perfect for swimming, kayaking and paddling, and the white sand beach is the perfect place to spend the day.

Your tents are air-cooled, with comfortable beds inside. There are also dry pit toilets and showers with fresh running water at the campsite.

You'll check in to your campsite just before lunch. Do try to arrive on time so you can settle into your air-cooled tents, and look around before lunch is served. After a delicious meal, you'll receive a briefing about the campsite, and then you can choose how you want to spend the day. You can take it easy, or head out for beach volleyball, kayaking, rock-climbing, or rappelling. As the evening turns to night, a bonfire is lit to keep you warm, and you'll end the day with a delicious hot dinner. Overnight in tents.

You'll retire at night to your cosy twin sharing tents equipped with cots, mattresses and quilts. The toilet tents are set a little distance away, and have both Western/Indian style flushing toilets with running water. You will enjoy lovely buffet meals with options of paneer curry, vegetable, dal/rajma, rice, vegetable manchurian/chowmein, boondi/veg raita, green salad, achar, papad, chutney, chicken curry (dinner only) and savoury Indian desserts like halwa, rasgulla and kheer.

Wake up early to get the best views of the river, and then dive into a hearty breakfast. You're going to need all the energy you can get to battle those rapids! This 26 kms stretch is Grade III, III+ and usually takes about 4 hours on the river. You'll encounter about 10 rapids, including famous rapids like the Roller Coaster, the Golf Course, and the Club House. Once you reach a more peaceful stretch, you can swim or try cliff-jumping. After this, you'll be transferred back to the campsite to wash up and dive into a hot lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy campsite activities, a bonfire with snacks, dinner, and retire to your tents for the night.

You'll leave in the morning for a fun rafting session. After this, you'll be brought back to the campsite for a day of riverside adventure. Bonfire, snacks, and a hot dinner complete your evening. Overnight in tents. The toilets are common, and a little distance away, with both Western/Indian style flushing toilets with running water.

Wake up early and head to the river for a walk, or to meditate. It's your last morning here for this trip, so make the most of it. After breakfast, you'll check out. Trip ends here.

You will wake up early to a delightful morning, and enjoy a wholesome buffet breakfast that includes fresh fruits, tea and coffee, cornflakes with milk, toasted break with butter or jam, eggs, paranthas/bhatura with chola or curd and poha or porridge. After that, it's time to pack up and check out by 11:00 hrs. Trip ends here.

Cancellation policy

The following charges will apply for cancellation:

For cancellations made more than 30 days before departure of rafting trip in Rishikesh: 75% of the trip cost will be refunded.

For cancellations made 29-15 days before departure of rafting trip in Rishikesh: 50% of the trip cost will be refunded.

For cancellations made 0-14 days before the Rishikesh rafting trip: No refund.

No show: No refund.

All refunds will be made after deducting the transaction charges.

The trip cost for the rafting in Rishikesh is quoted as a package. No partial refunds or credit will be given for services not used.

Rules on trip

The rafting in Rishikesh generally takes place in remote areas where there is little or no access to normal medical services or hospital facilities for serious problems. Medical and evacuation expenses will be the responsibility of the participant.

Participants must not litter and always follow the guide's instructions.

Consumption of alcohol and non-veg items at the campsite is strictly prohibited under Uttarakhand law.

All Rishikesh rafting trips are run with safety support. Two rafts or one raft and kayak depart together.

Please note that the Rishikesh rafting trip departure time is subject to change, based on mutiple factors. Participants are recommended to keep their schedule flexible for the day.

The operator reserves the right to change/delay the date of departure, the end point of the rafting, or the route for rafting, due to weather, political or other reasons out of the control of the operator. In the event of a change, postponement or delay, participants have no right to claim the refund of the tour price (in whole or in part) or other compensation for any injury, loss or damage.

The operator reserves the right to change the Rishikesh rafting prices (or any part) without notice, at any time before and including the departure date.

All participants should have internationally accepted health insurance for all activities pertaining to the rafting in Rishikesh, which should include coverage for emergency rescue and evacuation.

Children below 5 yrs enjoy free stay (no separate bed will be provided).

Children between the age of 6-12 years: INR 1500 per night (camping only).

Children above 12 years will be charged as adults.
