    On this rafting trip in Rishikesh, you'll take the plunge with a 16-km rafting session on the Ganges and spend the night in tents pitched on a mountainside campsite. You’ll don your life jackets and paddle your way over rapids rated grade II and III for an exhilarating experience on the holy Ganges. En route, you’ll participate in fun river activities with cliff jumping, body surfing and swimming. Another highlight of your trip, you’ll spend the night in Swiss tents pitched at a serene campsite. Adorned with the rich greenery of the mountains around Rishikesh, the campsite offers beautiful views of the Ganga River and a fun trekking experience in the jungles.

    Placed on a mountain ridge overlooking the holy Ganges, the campsite is located in the small village of Kaudiyala, just 40 kms outside Rishikesh. The campsite offers spectacular views of mountain slopes around the Ganges and camping in Swiss tents pitched under a twinkling night sky. The village of Kaudiyala has become a popular destination for campers looking for an off-beat stay in Rishikesh because of serene waterfront views of the Ganga River and beautiful hills painted with shades of green and brown.

  • Day 1 of the rafting trip in Rishikesh: Check-in

    Arrive at the campsite by 12:00 hrs and check-in to your Swiss tents. You can spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can participate in outdoor games like volley ball or cricket or take a dip in the swimming pool. You can also head out to explore the Rishikesh city or visit the beach just opposite the campsite. For an additional cost, you can also go rappelling at the campsite. In the evening, you'll gather around a bonfire and munch on snacks with light music in the background.     Check-in time at the campsite is 12:00 hrs. Your meal plan includes lunch, evening snacks and dinner (which includes 1 non-veg dish). You'll also be served evening tea with cookies and snacks around a bonfire, depending on weather conditions. You'll be accommodated in Swiss tents on a triple-sharing basis. The tents are equipped with comfortable beds, air coolers and attached washrooms.

    For cancellations made more than 14 days before departure of the Rishikesh rafting trip: 65% refund.

    For cancellations made 7-14 days before departure of the Rishikesh rafting trip: 40% refund.

    For cancellations made less than 7 days before departure of the Rishikesh rafting trip: No refund.

    No show: No refund.

    All refunds will be processed after deducting any transaction charges.

    Rules on trip

    Consumption of alcohol, drugs, tobacco products and cigarettes is strictly prohibited during the rafting trip in Rishikesh.

    Travellers are required to adhere to the instructions of the rafting instructor or tour leader while rafting or participating in any adventure activity.

    Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

    Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

    The check-in time at the campsite is 12:00 hrs while the check-out time at the campsite is 10:00 hrs. Late check-ins and check-outs will be charged an additional cost.

    While travellers younger than 14 years are welcome to stay at the campsite, only travellers older than 14 years can participate in rafting.

    All travellers will be required to sign a medical and liability waiver form before participating in any adventure activity during the rafting trip in Rishikesh.

    Please note that room service is not available at the camp.

    Accommodation for children younger than 6 years of age is not charged. Accommodation for children aged 6-14 years is charged at INR 900 per person. Accommodation for children above 14 years or age is charged at full price.
