Set in the midst of a tranquil forest in Byasi with the mighty Ganga River flowing nearby, this luxury campsite offers you the best of adventure in the comforts of nature. You can indulge in fun-filled outdoor games like volleyball and badminton or opt for short hikes in the gorgeous environs of Byasi.

The highlight of this trip, however, is the adrenaline-charged whitewater rafting session that will have you paddling the raging rapids for 16 kms of fun! At the end, you'll do some kayaking, and can try cliff jumping and body surfing.

Destination

Located in the interiors of Uttarakhand, the tiny village of Byasi is located on the banks of the famous Ganga River, 30 kms away from Rishikesh on the Badrinath highway. Rishikesh is a hub for camping, rafting, and other water sports in the Ganges, as well as being the start point for numerous trekking trips.

This campsite lies in the midst of lush forests, and is a great escape into nature. You’ll be staying in twin sharing deluxe air-cooled tents that come with attached bathrooms, running water and shower facilities. In the evenings, you’ll unwind around a crackling bonfire and some light music (from 19:00-22:00 hrs). When you retire at night, it'll be to cool tents with soft beds, where you'll have a peaceful night, with the sounds of nature outside.

You’ll check into the campsite in Byasi by noon, and will be guided to your deluxe tents. Gear up for a fun-filled day at the campsite where there are a variety of outdoor games to choose from. You'll eat a hearty lunch, and then can try your hand at volleyball or badminton and can even opt to take short hikes to explore the dense jungles that surround you. In the evening, the campsite is lively with light music and a blazing bonfire. You’ll enjoy light snacks before digging into a delicious dinner. Overnight stay in air-cooled Swiss tents.

You'll spend the night in a forest campsite with the Ganga River just 400 metres away. You'll sleep in comfortable Swiss tents on twin sharing basis. These tents come with attached bathrooms, hand showers, running water, carpets, mirrors, table with chairs and a table fan. Your meals for today include freshly cooked lunch, evening snacks and dinner.

Wake up to a sunny morning in Byasi. You’ll check out and have a delicious breakfast before heading for your thrilling rafting session. You’ll overcome the most exciting rapids such as Golf course (3), Club House (3) and Roller Coaster (3). You can try your hand at body surfing and cliff jumping and towards the end, you’ll float past the temples and ashrams. Your trip culminates at Laxman Jhula and you are free to proceed from there. Your trip ends here.

Cancellation policy

All cancellations for individual bookings must be done between 7-15 days before the check in date of the Rishikesh rafting trip.

All cancellations for group bookings must be done 30 days prior to the check in date of the Rishikesh rafting trip.

No show: No refund.

The refund will be initiated between 7-10 days after cancellation minus the cancellation and service charges.

Rules on trip

Smoking, chewing tobacco or consuming alcohol is prohibited before rafting in Rishikesh.

Littering is strictly prohibited in and around the campsite or near the water bodies.

You must adhere to the instructions of the rafting instructor at all times.

Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

In case of injury, damage to self or property or death, the operator will not be held responsible.

Rafting in Rishikesh is arranged considering normal weather. In case of cancellation of any event due to reasons beyond control such as natural calamities, riots, political uncertainty, public transport failure etc, refund shall be payable with respect to the given cancellation policy.

There will be no refunds or discounts given for services unused or missed due to traveller's own fault, negligence or breach of terms.

Additional rafting trip from Marine Drive to Laxman Jhula (26 kms) will be charged at INR 1000 per person.
