    Drive down to Kolad for a break from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Here, surrounded by greenery and cool breezes, you'll pit your strength against the mighty Kundalika river. Negotiate tricky grade II-III rapids and make this a day to remember. | This trip is ideal for a quick getaway as it is easily accessible by road and/or rail from Mumbai and Pune.

    Destination

    Kolad is a small town in the Konkan region of Maharashtra, right along the Kundalika river. Every morning, the massive Bhira dam opens its gates to release water for agriculture, turning the river into a rushing force of nature. You'll have a thrilling ride along the rapids for two hours, amidst lush green fields and swaying coconut palms.

    Rules on the trip

    Consuming alcohol or any other drugs while participating in the adventure activities is strictly prohibited.

    Wearing safety gear and adhering the safety instructions of the guide is mandatory.

    Children between 12 and 14 may be permitted to raft pending a safety clearance from our river guides. Children below 12 years will not be allowed to raft. Our river guide's decision in this regard will be final.

    Cancellation policy

    If cancellation is done more than 7 days prior to the departure date: No cancellation fee is charged..

    If cancellation is done 4 days before departure: 75% of the total trip cost is refunded.

    If cancellation is done 3 days before departure: 50% of the total trip cost is refunded.

    If cancellation is done 2 days before departure: 25% of the total trip cost is refunded.

    If cancellation is done 1 day before departure: No refund.

    Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

    Wilder West Adventures reserves all rights to change the venue/date/schedule or cancel the event.

    Transfer of booking will be permitted where feasible and will be at the discretion of the management.

    Anyone violating the safety norms and rules and regulations will not be allowed to participate in the adventure activities and the trip leaders/guides decision will be final.

  • Feel the thrill!

    After arriving at the campsite by 07:30, you'll travel to the start point and receive a short briefing about safety and the rules. Board your boats and brace yourselves for a wild ride! | It's a long stretch of 12 kms, and will take 2 hours to reach the end point. Take a refreshing dip in the river and spend some time splashing around at the end. | You'll then return to the campsite where there are changing rooms available. Trip ends here.
