• Trip introduction

The most perfect way to enjoy the Maharashtra monsoon is to head out into the Western Ghats. Here, the waterfalls and streams are fast and furious, the hills turn a hundred shades of green, and the weather is always perfectly cool.

On this trek, you'll get to explore Shrivardhan fort and Manoranjan fort, and stay in a village home stay. This overnight trek is a challenging one, suitable for those with some experience, or for fit beginners. There are long stretches of walking, but the rewards are great!

The Rajmachi trek is a memorable monsoon adventure. The trail is a long one, but you'll have a chance to visit the two forts and Kondane caves as well. At night, you'll stay in dormitories or in twin- or triple-sharing home-stays.
