    On this trek to Rajmachi, you'll get to explore the Kondhane Caves, catch views of glowing fireflies, and stay in a village home stay. This overnight trek is a challenging one, suitable for those with some experience, or for fit beginners. There are long stretches of walking, but the rewards are great!

  • Day 1 of the trek to Rajmachi: Explore Rajmachi

    Meet your fellow trekkers at the Lonavala railway station by 17:15 hrs and proceed towards the base village in shared jeeps or similar vehicle. En route, you'll stop and continue the rest of the journey on foot. After an 8-km trek, you'll reach the base village where you'll have dinner. Post dinner, resume trekking and explore the village and surrounding forests to spot fireflies. Overnight at base village in dormitory homestay.

    Your trip begins from the Lonavala railway station by 17:15 hrs. You'll be accommodated at the base village in a dormitory on a multi-sharing basis. Today's meal package includes dinner after arrival at the base village.

    For cancellations made 3 days or more before departure of the Rajmachi trek: 50% refund.

    For cancellations made 0-3 days before departure of the Rajmachi trek: No refund.

    All refunds will be processed after deducting any transaction charges.

    Rules on trip

    Travellers are required to adhere to the instructions of the trek leader during the trek to Rajmachi.

    Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

    Consumption of liquor, drugs, tobacco products and cigarettes is strictly prohibited during the trek to Rajmachi.

    A basic level of health and fitness is required to book this trek to Rajmachi. If you have any cardiac or respiratory conditions, or suffer from knee or spinal problems, please inform the tour operator and consult your doctor before booking the trek to Rajmachi.

    Travellers will be required to bear any additional costs arising due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, road blocks etc.
