The 2-day trek to Rajmachi begins from the famous tourist destination of Lonavala and ends the next day with a descent to the Kondivade village near Karjat.

The trek to Rajmachi is among the most popular routes for trekking enthusiasts in the Sahyadri range. Ideal for fit beginners as well as experienced trekkers, the trail has a lot to offer in terms of views and an overall experience.
The Rajmachi fort rests at a height of 2710 ft and was built by Shivaji in the 17th century. There are 2 routes to get to the fort - the first one is from Karjat, which is more difficult, and the second is from Lonavala. You will be covering both these routes. The trail on both the routes passes through a dense forest and participants can discover different species of birds and animals. Once on top, participants have enough time to explore Manranjan, Shrivardhan and the Rajmachi lake.

Arrive at the Lonavala railway station, where you'll meet the trek leader and grab a bite to eat. From here, you'll travel to the start point of the trek. The Rajmachi village is just an hour and half away from the base. Today, you'll also explore the Manoranjan and Shrivardhan forts and the Rajmachi Lake. Overnight at Rajmachi village.
