• Trip introduction

This trek is counted as one of the most exciting and endurance testing treks in Maharashtra. The trek covers a distance of about 18 kms, but is a medium intensity trek, so is suitable for those with even moderate trekking experience. It's a great training trek for those planning to visit the Himalayas, and can be a good weekend adventure escape from the city.

The Rajmachi trek is a long one, but absolutely beautiful, especially during the monsoons. With two forts at the top, the trek is a rewarding one, and the overnight camping with a view of the rolling hills around is an added bonus. Nature lovers can revel in the streams, waterfalls, and lush green paddy fields that surround this spot.
