If you're a PADI or SSI certified scuba diver looking to go underwater in the Andaman Sea, this fun scuba dive in Andaman is designed just for you. After a quick refresher of your dive skills, you'll dive alongside a dive instructor and explore the open sea for 45 minutes. Swim over the sandy seafloor to view ranges of lively corals and spot tiny, brightly-coloured fishes like the orange clownfish or the red snapper.
NOTE: Travellers are required to be PADI/SSI certified divers to book this scuba dive in Andaman.
Located at the southern tip of the Andaman Island, away from the crowds of Port Blair, the small fishing village of Chidiya Tapu is close to a number of dive spots. Little known to the crowd of tourists that usually visit the more popular Havelock Island, the dive spots of Chidiya Tapu experience low traffic, allowing for a personalized scuba experience. Aside from scuba diving, Chidiya Tapu is also known for being one of the best beaches in the archipelago to relax and grab sunset views in the evening.

Report to the dive center at Chidiya Tapu by early morning. You'll meet your diving instructor who will conduct a quick briefing session to refresh your dive skills and technique. When you're ready for the dive, you'll take a boat ride to a dive spot near Chidiya Tapu to undertake a 45-minute long dive. Depending on your prior certification level, you'll go from 40 to 100 feet deep underwater. Transfer back to the dive center after the dive. Your trip ends here.

Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.
