This 2-day PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (AOWD) course takes you deeper than you've ever gone before. During this time, you'll go as deep as 18-30 metres/60-100 feet, and will learn how to use a dive knife, and how to navigate underwater using a dive compass. You’ll have to complete a series of 5 dives to earn this certification, including a compulsory deep sea dive and an underwater navigation dive. Some of the popular adventure dives are the wreck dive, night dive, underwater naturalist, or underwater photographer. With very few classroom sessions and no written examination, this Advanced OWD lets you spend more time in the water, fine-tuning your skills.
NOTE: You need to be a certified PADI Open Water Diver to undertake this course. You will also be expected to swim 200 metres (with any swimming stroke) and float for 10 minutes in open water.
