Sign up for the SSI Open Water Diver course and learn the intricate details of scuba diving on a 4-day itinerary. You’ll begin by learning the theory of scuba diving with instructional videos and course material. This is followed by practical training sessions that are conducted by a certified dive instructor in shallow water. Soon, you'll be ready to apply your skills and go scuba diving in the Andaman Sea. Before the course is over, you'll have completed four open water dives at various dive sites near Havelock Island, swimming down as deep as 60 feet from the surface.

    Destination

Scuba diving in India is undoubtedly the best in the coral rich dive sites of the Andaman Sea. For budding scuba divers who are taking their first steps in the adventure sport, the Andaman Sea offers dive sites like the Wall and the Bay View Reef. With moderate water currents, the seabed at the Wall presents a deep drop off from a plateau. From small Nudibranchs to large Humphead wrasse, marine life is abundant at the Wall. At the Bay View Reef, the corals are home to schools of critters and brightly-coloured, tropical fishes like Moorish idols and parrotfishes.
